The room was amazing (de-luxe room) - even nicer in real life than the photos! And huge - spanning the whole of the 1st floor! The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect. Over all a fantastic hotel that added to a fantastic weekend! I would definately recommend to friends and family and if in Prague again would certainly stay at the Green Lobster again!. perfect position for a tourist in prague. our room was amazing - so much bigger and nicer than we had hoped. beautiful furniture, the breakfast was lovely, the staff were lovely. we stayed in a building across from the main reception which worried me initially but i really liked our room afterall.
all reviews » The room and location were great. The staff were extremely helpful. We were in the attic room which was perfect for a romantic getaway. The complimentary bottle of champagne was a nice touch. Great Hotel: very nicely located at footsteps from Prague Castle and old town areas. Great services, friendly staff, nice room. I was upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite which was fantastic - a really beautiful room with a stunning view. we stayed in a beautiful room and were able to enjoy a quiet peaceful and relaxing weekend. rooms were nice and big. the location was awesome. Its only about 1 minute from the castle and 5 mins from Charles' bridge. The rooms are huge (ours was more of a suite in the end!) and have a great tv and all other normal hotel amenities. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Awesome. The BEST hotel bedroom we've been. We were in a Suite executive bedroom with 2 floors , kitchen, sofas, bath. Free Champan. All was amazing. 10-15 min walk to Charles Bridge. A night to remember.Location,Decor ,clean and modern facilities. Beautiful room, friendly staff. Very relaxing atmosphere. everything. Quiet, lovely room that was clean with comfortable bed and place to sit and read. Roomy bathroom. Short walk to tourist sites. Easy tram rides outside the touristy areas. Breakfast was excellent with a choice to fit differents tastes. A bargain for Prague. We would return without hesitation. location however it is a climb to the hotel and therefore i would not recomend it ot those with walking difficulties. Wonderful location just beneath the castle. The suites were amazing and the staff friendly and helpful. Superb location and very nice hotel.Picturesque site, comfortable room, although at the front of the hotel ie on street side tended to be noisy on weekend evening but not for long and to be fair we were early to bed people. Breakfast was relaxed and plentiful, staff regularly checked levels and replenished with fresh. We did see staff, they were not intrusive but friendly and helpful - would I stay there again ? - YES!. we had a beautiful room,would have liked a bath but had not requested it.also situated on a lovely street.stunning buildingu. Good location. the airconditioning didn't work. this was ok, but if the days had been any hotter this would have been a big problem. The breakfast was pretty basic.Missing battery in tv remote. But that's OK - I didn't go to Prague to watch tv and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I liked everything - breakfast was really good and the service second to none. Shower head kept slipping out of position and lift was really slow but only minor complaints. It's located in a very steep slope and we were too tired! :) (Although the street is one of the most beautiful streets in the city). Poor breakfast. no' but i suggest putting coffee inside the room. We would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room. only thing, we would have liked a bar or restaurant for evening. For the period of summer it would be good to leave in number of more potable water and it is free-of-charge, cost of numbers it allows;-) the Floor under beds it is desirable to wash though once a week and in such beautiful numbers there are no flowers!. small shower, no internet access in rooms. room not as big as lead to believe it would be by pictures, no tea making facilities in room,. price (too high compared to several other hotels in the same area), no internet access for apple on the dependance. no tea and coffee facilities in the room, and there was not a proper shower with the bath tub. The absence of a lounge, one can sit in the cafe, was a disadvantage as was the fact that the hotel is in two seperate buildings. This seperation meant I actually saw no staff between checking in and out. The photographs of the bedrooms are very attractive but don't illustrate the reality of those in the second batiment. My room was correct, warm and had an acceptable bathroom.I prefer hotels to have tea/coffee-making facilities in the room. Also prefer and an iron and ironing board to be more readliy available, to avoid crinkly clothes. Although there was a satellite TV receiver, most programmes seemed to be German language - and although I didn't go on holiday to watch TV, I would have liked to access some of the main British TV channels, to keep abreast of news items. Room was a large but not so clean. And it seemed that there was a problem to supply water in bathroom. Finally single delux room didn't look like a picture. there was no canopy.
