Absolutely loved this hotel. Didn't know it was a renovated convent. Very close, but extremely quite location. 3 minutes to the castle and about 5 to the St. Charles Bridge. Perfect, newer, quiet, clean and restful. I highly, highly recommend this hotel. I especially LOVED the breakfast area...3rd floor attic with tons of character. Wow!. Having travelled extensively and with a UK base in a 5* hotel, the Appia Residence cannot be faulted. It is an amazing place, impecably clean, quiet, extensive accomodation, dedicated and helpful staff> I cannot recommend this hotel too highly and we will certainly return and recommend it to our friends.
all reviews » The rooms are very spacious. The hotel iteself is situated in a very quiet area close to the main city attractions. The room service did excellent job. Breakfast was very generous. We also liked the fact that the hotel had a private garage. We loved the location, a few steps off the beaten track to guarantee peace, a 10 minute stroll to the Charles Bridge and Castle area. Appia itself is excellent, clean, comfortable and charming. The rooms were very spacious and spotlessly clean. Extremely quiet in the area which meant a good nights sleep. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was good and the breakfast room was lovely. The rooms were fantastic, the breakfast lovely and the staff friendly and helpful- everything for a perfect stay, will definately return..The hotel is wonderfull. Everybody in the hotel was really nice with us. The location is good. I strongly recommend Appia Residences. On arrival they tried to give us a smoking room while our preferences were non-smoking. When we went back to the reception we got a non-smoking room without problems. Being charged more than bookings.com had quoted,again i will make a formal complaint when i have more time. attitude of the staff. No laundry facilities available or close by - not good for an apartment hotel. Internet access unusable.
