Very clean and bright room with large bathroom at the rear of the building. Room was cleaned daily and fresh towels supplied and the domestic staff were friendly and helpful. Felt the trams rather than heard them. Some staff spoke English and some only a little but all were helpful. Although not a large variety, breakfast was fresh and ample in choice for me. Hotel is very close to the station and public transport. Hotel is situated within walking distance of all main sites . Wi-fi was very goo.
all reviews » This hotel was perfect for us. Close to the main train station so when we arrived it was only a short walk. We found the hotel an easy distance to walk to any of the main attractions as far as Prague Castle. The rooms were comfortable, clean, spacious. Large bathroom, clean with fresh towels. Friendly staff member who greeted us. Welcome drink on arrival. Double windows for night time. I am a light sleeper and the noise didn't worry me too much. Would stay here again if I returned to Prague. The location was excellent - quite close to the central train station, Wenceslas Square and the Old Town, and the price for the quality was simply astounding, especially as this was a very busy time in Prague! The single room was very clean, with a good bed - not a lot of room, but just enough! The neighborhood was also excellent - when one arrives late in a big city, that is often very important. Nice, helpful staff, too!. Nice, clean room ... basically everything you need! Towels, soap, shampoo included. Breakfast buffet was alright and plenty - for what you pay!!!! They served homemade czech sweets like Mohnstrudel and Striezel which we really enjoyed! It's very close to the main attractions! They also offer luggage storage which made things a lot easier for us. Overall: Great value for money! We would stay there again!. Great stay! everything was just perfect! We were staying with 8 months old baby and they gave us bigger room on the ground floor on the quiet side away from the road noise which was really great!! Rooms are very clean and functional. Internet was free and they allow you to left storage your luggage after check out. A few minutes from the airport bus stop and both stations this is ideally located for a late arrival. Stayed in Prague twice and couldn't get closer for the money, only a ten minute walk to the Wenceslas square! One thing the site doesn't mention is that there is parking on site for only ten euro a day which was a life saver because there is no public parking nearby. It's the second time I've been in this hotel, and I would chose it again. The location near to the main train station and to the city center (one can see everything just by walking) is perfect, it's clean, the quality to price ratio is good, and the staff very nice. worth paying. We book for 3 person in private room so need to pay and book as 4 person in order to get a private room. But when check in it turns out that we got 4 beds 4 towels. room is large and convenience. Location is very good and near to Prague train station. Pleasant staff. Can speak well English and Czech. I was able to fill in the papers and leave my bags on the reception as I arrived way before the check-in hours. Then check-in was done in late evening hours w/o problem. Room was clean and well prepared. The hotel is at a great venue, it's 5 min away from one of the biggest metro stations and 3 min away from the shopping center. We arrived from Nurnberg 11AM headed to the Hotel and managed to check in around noon. Spacious, clean room!. Clean,cheap,frendly staff,24 hours service,very good location near to historical center, very close to bus and tram central stations. Location: easy walk from train station and not far from shopping street and main attractions. Spacious rooms with separate bathroom. The hotel itself was secure. The hotel suggested using the reception safe for valuables but I felt there was a question mark over the security of this safe. A room safe would be a better option. The breakfast was generous, but not to my taste - not enough "healthy" foods - and the coffee was terrible, but the coffee is usually terrible at the hotels in Prague, I am sorry to say! Nevertheless, it was all excellent for the price! I would certainly stay here again!. One of the downsides could be the old windows and the noisy street - if you have a light sleep. The trams go past ... altough not all night long. We are used to that from Vienna so we didn't mind. I guess you could just ask for a room facing the inner courtyard .. then you would be fine! If I wanted to complain about breakfast I would say that the coffee could have been better ... I hate thin filtered coffee ... Room was a little but noisy. It was easy to realize when someone was leaving/entering the room next door. Also I could hear other noises while on bed. It's not related to the hotel himself but to the noise customers in the upper floor. They made a lot of noise during the last morning. The selection of food is few, but it's enough for the day. nothing. No complains. Wifi connection is poor in room. the lobby area is too small when morning its very cloud by guest check out. Just a minor thing, but shower gel and shampoo was only in small packages. Would be better if it was available in a dispenser in the shower. I used my own, so no problem for me at least. Not the whole staff spoke english which was not very pleasant and they made a mistake with my key and gave me one for another room. After all they managed to fix the misunderstanding quite fast. A little fridge would be nice to have at the room. Style & decor may not be to everybody's liking, being very 50/60tyish. But really, does it matter? Rooms large, beds comfortable, bathrooms ok. They allowed us to leave our luggage with extra pay with 3euro per bag eventho we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Non. The tram passes in front of the hostel and there can be some noice. It was not a big problem for us. If I have to mention anything here that would be the noise caused by the huge amount of trams passing by every 20 seconds. But c'mon if you are really disturbed by this, probably you should still be in town exploring wonderful Prague, not in your hotel room. It would be great if the hotel was able to offer a bit more variety in their breakfasts. Front desk staff not very friendly without good knowledge of English. Very detailed questions (date and place of birth, name of parents etc.) when filling up registration form. Very limited brochures about major attractions in Prague. Trams under our window, for short stay it doesn't matter,but if you want to stay longer it would probably better to ask for the room with windows on the other side of the building. But anyway it's just small inconvinience. The food is ok, but breakfast, for instance, could be a bit better, I am glad we only stayed there one night. Also the staff, some were really rude, not to me, but to other guests. Check-in time had only started 20 minutes ago and this staff lady was already sighing and gibbering in czech to her colleague. If she's tired, might I suggest she change her job!?. Wi-fi didn't function well, but it was good for us - we went there to have some rest and enjoy the city!. Nothing. Hotel was suited perfectly for someone focused on seeing the city, not spending time in their room. Our room was next to the tram line and incredibly noisy. All of the front rooms facing the street are on the tram line and to have your windows open or not its very noisy. the room had the windows towards a busy street where many trams are passing by - therefore it was a bit noisy, but for us it was not a problem. between 00 and 6 you dont hear them. and we could sleep anyways so it was OK for us. you could head for a room which is not facing this main road. We were two friends and sometimes we needed to go to the room separately but we only got one copy of room key on the reception and we were told that there is no possibility to get the second one, even though we had a room for two persons. But it was not a big deal. nothing. The noise of the tram was very bad as the hotel location is direct to the street of the tram , I wanted a room on the other side to be far but there was no availability . Vibe around the hotel, while friendly enough, was not what I would describe as 'cosy'. Efficiently run though, which is fine, and there are plenty of cosy places nearby to seek out. We were two trvallers and while booking online we were showed no double room was available so we had to book 2 single rooms...after being given the room we saw the single room was actually a double room!! So we had to pay for two double where one remained unused!!. Very minor things, such as no soap or gel dispenser in the shower unit as the only dispenser in the bathroom was above the sink. The breakfast was a bit dissapointing! Not a big variety and the same food for both days. Room was quite small and there was some noise from the nearby trams passing by. Though we didn't bother to much. The window of our room was broken. The room was warm as well, not easy to open up windows to freshen it up. Not to many complaints more. Do not apply hot water, this make international people noe convince, may be because the different life style. INTERNET was full signal, but there was no power behind it. WAS NOT ABLE TO CHECK MAIL for 24 hours!!! This was a MAJOR problem, because we were on a bussiness trip and needed the connection. No electric kettle and frigider in the room. Bar tender was grumpy.
