I was there for the second time, and I liked it again. The staff is friendly and helpful, the kitchen and bathroom is still nice. I love that this hostel is only 5 min walk from the train station, and the city centre. Perfect location, just 5 walking minutes away from the city centre and bar street; staff is really kind and helpful, private rooms are situated on the other side of the road and are very cozy.
all reviews » The staff was just super, nice and friendly. In the kitchen we had everything. The hostel is in the center of Zagreb, you can reach everything within a few minutes by walk. We stayed in the double in the annex. The room was quite large and has a huge flat screen tv and excellent wifi connection with the router in the room. Nice people working there! Very friendly and helpful. Close to the bus terminal and train stations. The city center is 15 minutes away on foot. Very kind and understanding staff with loads of tips on where to go, eat, drink and park the car we had. The staff was really nice and very friendly. Rooms with "private' baths are in the annex which is quieter than the hostel. I stayed in a hostel for one night only. City centre is near by. Train station is near by. Some staff, but not all, is helpful. I only missed few things. If the staff or the owners read this, it would be great to have a swab, or something like that in the bathrooms, and paper towels in the kitchen. But anyway, this place is great. The springs in the bed protrude. Once I booked the hostel for one night, but when I arrived, I was told that there was no room available. Then I was led to some other hostel instead. I didn't get to stay for free! Just kidding!. Smoking in the lounge still got into the room where I was sleeping disturbing me. A better ventilation will help avoid this!. Kitchen was little messy and dirty, but still alright. No drinks to buy there. We liked everything.. Had an amazing stay here... The hosts went out of the way to help us... The bathroom in the single room smelt mouldy and unpleasant!. I had a private bath but had to walk through a shared kitchen to reach it. Also the bath did not have a lock on either side of the door so anybody using the shared kitchen could have walked in on me showering. I booked a private room for two through letsbookhotel.com. I have not received the agreed price or service. We were woken up by some newcomers at about 2 o'clock in the morning even though we had booked a private room. And in the end the price was higher than those agreed by letsbookhotel.com for a 30% for poorer service. Too worst to comment.
