I loved the location, and I loved the owners. They were so friendly and hospitable! I was worried because I had read about the noise from the train tracks....but really it was nothing. Unless you are expecting to sleep on a farm in dead silence,it is just normal city noise. You can also hear the boats hooting from the harbour which adds atmosphere! I loved it, would 100% stay there again. I was there for 4 nights. all reviews »
Conveniently located next to the old city center across from the sea. Also directly located across from the ferry port, bus and train terminals, which gives direct access to island hopping and exploring other cities around split.

Excellent value for money, the room was modern and very clean. We stayed on the lower floor which was the most spacious from what we saw, it was enough room for what we needed. Staff were great and very helpful, I would definitely go back, and would recommend for short stays.

V. friendly people. It is very well situated near the bus & train station and the docks. To get there go onto the station platform, cross the lines (there are hardly any trains). At the far side is a gap in the fence in front of Villa Simon. Rooms Valentino is next door.

decent 2 stars hotel. the room is very very small, but we need it only for one night and it was fine. it was clean, the staff helpful, carrying the bags for us on the third floor (no elevator and narrow staircase). but in genera it is ok for the cheap price.

As it is behind the Train Station, it's not too near to have a nice walk with a heavy luggage, but it is close enough to have noise of trains late at night.
One of the few trains in the day is in the middle of the night. It woke us. Also the Wi-Fi was inconsistent.

While the apartment itself was nice and clean, the approach to the
apartment was not so nice and a little shady. But the owner helped us
with the parking.
There was a lot of noise from the night life and you could here all the trains.
Being unable to pay with credit card is also a little bit inconvenient.
the position of the hotel is good in terms of distance to the harbour and train/bus station, but it's actually in a small ugly street behind the train station, and it looked not very nice and safe in the night time.
Small rooms, cold staff, located in a dead end Street impossible to reach by car. Rooms with balconies are above the railway station. Very noisy and unpleasant.
Difficult to find the place as no hotel name is seem unless you reached the door step.
They have the ridiculous "policy" of not returning the passport until you pay. Makes you feel bad. Like you're not going to pay.
