The apartmet was perfect for us. It has a terrace with a nice view, the owner lives in the same building in case that you need something and it has everything necesary. Everybody has complained about the long stairs, but if you can walk three blocks you can climb those stairs. It has very good parking in case you need it. The owner was very kind and explaind to us everything (public transportation, site seeing, etc.). I totaly recomed it.
all reviews » Diana was a fantastic host. She was extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly, and went out of her way to make sure our stay was as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The apartments represented very good value for money. Very clean, spacious, air con, satellite tv, dvd, self catering facilities etc. Couldn't ask for any more for the price and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. In Ours humbly opinion, The Best "value for money" place, for a week in Dubrovnik. Northern Lapad slope makes a sunlight barrable. "Petka natural Park" on the back yard of House is perfect, green place for resting, after stonewalls of Old Town. Diana's ( Owner ) hospitality is excellent. The couple who run this apartment were so great! They offered to wash our clothes, have us a great list of must do activities, drive us to meet the airport shuttle and just went over and above! Close to beaches and walking paths. Right by bus that takes you straight to old towne. Great location close to beach and local restaurant/bars. Bus stop to old town less than 100 m, about same distance to good mini market. Some greate view over Lapad as on a very elivated location. Diana was very hospitable, she went out of her way to help.I initially had trouble locating the place when I hopped of the local bus, they came and found me and delivered me to the door. Very friendly owner, quiet room with fridge and coffee maker but only a 5 minute walk to lovely beach, baker and supermarket and regular bus into old town of Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is a beautiful town and K APATMENTS are ideally situated to see the historic town and the beach.Staff were very friendly and have excellant local knowledge. Owner was helpful. Dubrovnik is on hills so get use to some climbing. I liked the helpfulness of the owner, the location, the design of the house. Dubrovnik in general good bus service history of Dubrovnik and the people. Lovely terrace, very silent, the apartment was clean and fully equipped. Close to all you need and short bus drive to old town. Owner of the apartment was very helpful. Diana is an excellent host. Good location. Spacious flat. Effective air conditioning. Refrigerator. Good connections to the old town. About 175 stairs from beach up to apartment, but you get used to them quickly! It's a good mini workout!. Could do with a washing machine if you were staying for a longer period. I liked the accommodation but Dubrovnik is over run with tourists, go to Hvar instead it is much nicer. Most reviewers complained about the 166 steps but they were nothing. If you have a problem with those you'll have no hope of getting around the the city walls. Nothing to complain. Confirmation says they take visa but again they don't. We feel Bookings.com are to blame for this and not the hotel. The stairs to the apartment, too many. There were too many steps from the main road to the apartment it is not to be recommended for older people. It's on a hight and many steps for the less unfit or older person.
