The strategical location of the hotel, about 15 mins. walk to Shangxiajiu pedestrian shopping street, about 12 mins. walk to Beijing road pedestrian shopping street where you can shop till you drop! The wholesale shoes market/city ( more than 200 shoes-shops around ) is just opposite the hotel across the main road. The hotel receptionists are friendly and helpful who can also speak English. Even the hotel security personels and room cleaning staff are friendly and polite too! The nearest Metro .
all reviews » Staff speaks a little english and they are very helpfull. For buiss trip its very good. During fairs there is free shuttle bus. Location is very nice, 5minutes walk from metro station. quite noisy in night (opositie there is shoes market and they are packing till late night hours). Around 7 minutes walk to Pearl River. 5minutes walk to great vietmise restaurant TIGER PRAWN, check this Restaurant its very good and cheap- people from abroad dont wait in queue- just walk in even if there is queue . The hotel was easily accessible from the airport by Metro with just one well signed change. Good, easy to find reasonably quiet location close to a Metro station in the city centre and the riverside. Friendly and helpful English speaking staff at reception. Reasonable buffet breakfast. The staff service is good. Location is good if you wanted to buy kid toys (near to a large childrens toys mall) and opposite are many shops selling shoes. Also convenient to get food. Taxi to Shangxiajiu and Beijing Road and Yuexiu Park is very near, not exceeding rmb 20. As a business traveler, it its very convenient as it is surrounded by freight forwarder and wholsale outlets. 3 minutes walk to "One Link" wholesale plaza. If you are traveling for businesses I think this is the best hotel in terms of price and comfort. We were too early to have breakfast due to an early flight and they were unable to organize a take away breakfast which we have had many times on our travels. Walking in and out without acknowledge from front desk staff. However, the house keeper aunty is very nice, and smile. 3. Near by not many raustant for breakfast or afternoon tea. However, the overall is just okay for my one week stay. Narrow bath room. No any other facility like fitness center or pool. If you are rush on hour , don't ask counter to call taxi as the taxi will come after 20mins. Waste time to wait . Better take taxi beside the road by yourself is more faster than hotel arrangement . Not many restaurant around the hotel . No breakfest with the booking and if you want to eat breakfest you must inform them one day ahead!!!! Other hotel staff they know only chiness!! Smell of reception was horrible and need to be more orginze to check in the guest very quick as I wait too long!!!. When I told them about this problem, they did not responde well. it was much overpriced. very small room, too much expensive ( I know Canton Fair but not over 100 usd per night !!!!), 9.30 a.m. breakfast finished, you can hear noise from street and very dirty window - never again... Do not believe in picture posted on this hotel as initially booked thru booking doesn't mention no windows Where images showing come with windows ended up needed to pay 15% additional charges. Beware of using credit card payment, as one of my card being misused after I done first swap in china trip, it come out miscellaneous charges notified by bank. Staff not well trained and not aware English, not cooperative, high charges. The pictures provided in the website make the hotel rooms and facilities look better than what they really are.
