Location was amazing, 5 mins walk to main shopping road (Beijing Lu), fashion accessory wholesale market is just to the left, there you get loads of cheap stuff if you wanna buy something to take home, just behind the hotel is the river walkway, it's beautiful in the evenings.. One of the best local seafood resurants is just behind. There was an English movie Chanel that was playing continus movies. Ohh and there's a money changer in the hotels who's open till around 7.30 pm, which was very use.

The easy control single tap for shower (hot/cold water) is the best as we always have problem controlling with the dual taps design. The rooms are clean, comfortable, The coridors are well lighted. elevator entrance clean. Bath room is compact but functionable. Good. The Coffee shop at 39 floor is good. Food also good. Clean and most of the staff was accommodating except for one. The restaurants in the hotel and nearby were delicious. The hotel location was central and travel was convenient. The room was big and confortable. The breakfast at floor 39 was rich and with 360 degrees wonderful view on the city and river. We booked a vip suite at a very special price. 1.Satisfactory service. The walk to the train station was slightly longer than expected, probably about 5-10mins and we had to cross a busy road. I was expecting a less than 5mins walk actually. Lots of construction work in the vicinity due to new Line 6 Metro construction, no shopping in the area, very few restaurants around the hotel. The rooms are dated. No iron for clothes and wifi was intermittent. Accomodation for english speakers. Well,it is just some mini minor issues and it definitely would not jeopardized my next visit. We stayed for 10nights in business suite (with 2 chn), our room was not cleaned – they just made the beds. The "free" Wi-Fi was playing up - we called for assistance more than 8 times. rooms perfects but the bathroom is old. Location is not that great, quite far away from major tourist attractions like Canton Tower and Opera House. "Panoramic view of the Pearl River" was a bit of a disappointment, because it's an older part of the city, and you can't really see interesting landmarks. Room was very much overpriced - but we were staying there during Guangzhou Trade Fair, and hotel prices in general were higher than usual. We booked the room on 13-19/F originally. Those rooms are recently rennovated that we didnt know until we asked after. However, the staff ”upgraded” us to higher floor at 26/F, which is old and not comfortable with a hard bed. They changed for us eventually but still not a very good impression to their staff. The bed is not confort. Two single bed combine into one queen size bed. The staff uniform so old The quality of room furniture and design very very old , specially my friend room 916 , my room was 1616 ' both are suite but I don't think so . The carpet in floor 9 old and dirty In fact I didn't like this hotel ' so I cancelled my booking on 21 to 24 of DEC. Lack of security at lobby. lack of wifi. Not wi-fi at the rooms. no wi-fi. Bed too hard. The toilet shower curtain is dirty even the bowl.no wifi. Internet too slow. Communication.very few staff speak English. We tried to eat on the 3rd floor. One of the male staff was really RUDE. To see people spitting is disgusting when Bird flu is threatening. The room very old and small. The tv can't be on by remote and need to be manual on. The heater is faulty. very poor room, look like 2 star hotel room. Room and service. I stayed 25th and 29th floor, but too old facilities and smells no good, compare to price. I don't want to stay any more. 1- the Premier river view room is not valid in the hotel, and was offered a lower level room for a newer furniture !! 2- was surprised that breakfast is not included in the rate of my booking !!.
