Great hot breakfast options; nicely appointed room, room-card-secured elevator and stair wells, good location downtown - quick walk to waterfront (Canada Place, convention center) and to all sorts of shopping. Great built in electronics strip at desk - outlets, usb ports, etc ... Master electricity switch at the door turns off all (except the desk lamp) for a quick exit, quick re-entry; room thermostat was easy for a non techie to navigate, and a pass to the Steve Nash athletic club right aroun.
all reviews » Staff were friendly and helpful and remembered our names as we left and re-entered the Hotel. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the walk-in shower was excellent. The food was very good at the Grill room and breakfast, we had not realised that breakfast was included in the tariff and was very much appreciated..All services provided were very much appreciated and the Hotel was well situated for walking to places of interest and to Public transport. We would stay there again and strongly recomme. The venue is excellent - located at tthe heart of downtown and is easily accessible to the public transport. Facilities are good as well with its complimentary wireless Wi-Fi and calls and breakfast. Services are also a thumbs up - arrived at the hotel early and the staff informed me that my room would not be ready for another 15 min and he guided me to use their computer facilities first while I leave my bag at the counter. Before I know it, my bag is already in the room. A small but memorabl. Found the St Regis to be an excellent hotel. Location is excellent, close to everything. The staff were more than excellent...extremely friendly and helpful...special mention for Gary at the front desk and Ramesh who served us breakfast every morning. Would love to stay again.. Thankyou !. The St. Regis was a centrally located, elegantly appointed hotel. My wife doesn't care for elevators, so we got a room on the first floor, and got to know the clean, nicely decorated stairway well. Ryan, one of the concierges, was very helpful and friendly as were all of the people at the desk. Would gladly stay there again. The staff were efficient and friendly. Omelette for the breakfast was excellent and the staff in the breakfast room were very helpful. Check out at 12 oclock was beneficial, and we enjoyed all the small touches in our room, for example chocolates on the bed and an image of a burning wood fire on our TV at Checkin. Staff was great and very helpful. Hotel is in a great location which was à plus for a stay before our cruise. Breakfast is excellent with a sit-down service, not buffet style. Upon our arrival, there was à handwritten note welcoming us in the room, which you don't find often. Wonderful location (easy walking distance) for harbourside, city, shopping, sightseeing options, transport connection to airport, and easy access to attractions. There was another staff who looked like he was sleeping on his job, watching videos on his iPhone too. The other staff members who were nice were VERY helpful and friendly but sometimes the grumpy one would just ruin my mood the entire day as I dislike rude staff members. The lift facility was poor. There is nothing not to like about this place. shower only in room. The only thing that could have made it better was if it was free. None. My room 212 was nice and quiet but my friend's room (I think it was 206) was right on the road. Very noisy, he didn't sleep much. Make sure you don't get room overlooking the main rd or the hotel needs to invest in soundproofing. The parking is a bit awkward, but the staff is there to help. i found the furnishings of rooms, and particularly the breakfast room, rather dark, but it may be a personal preference. Limited facilities, eg gym and spa. There was nothing I didn't like. This was my second visit to the property and great service on each occasion. Absolutely nothing. Everything was great. Staff pushed radios going off in hallways at 7:30 am. Not much to not like. Small lift?. All was good. The single lift can be an issue during checkout. Not much to say here. My TV had some cable issues and didn't work twice. Pacing of breakfast service a little slow. Very minor flaw, you have to use the single lift in the building to access the breakfast room... rush hour traffic in the lift during breakfast time!. nothing!.

- The US/Canada Boarder is located 60 km (36 miles) from the hotel.
- Take the I5 which turns into Highway 99 at the US/Canada boarder.
- Follow this highway until you Broadway Street.
- Turn left on Broadway and drive to Granville Street.
- Turn right on Granville. Go over the Granville Street Bridge taking the Seymour Street exit.
- Take Seymour to Dunsmuir Street. Turn left on Dunsmuir Street and you will see the St. Regis Hotel on the left hand side almost at the corner.

From YVR airport:
- Start going Northwest on Grant McConachie Way.
- Stay straight to go on Arthur Laing Bridge. Take the ramp toward Granville St./ City Centre.
- Turn slight right onto SW Marine Dr., this street becomes Granville St. (4.8 miles).
- Take the Seymour St. / Hwy-99 N ramp toward BC Ferrries / Horseshoe Bay / Whistler.
- Stay straight to go onto Seymour St. / Provincial Route 99 N.
- Continue to follow Seymour St. and turn left on Dunsmuir St.
- The Hotel is located at the corner next to the Starbucks
