I loved being in a historical building and yet all modern amenities were at my fingertips I liked having a valet because parking was an issue and understandably so in such a rich historical city. .Most importantly, the hostess unexpectedly, upgraded our room to the loft and I thought I was in heaven. I have never stayed in such a luxurious suite. I didn't want to get out of the bed in the morning. Merci bien!

What is there to say about the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. The place is pure luxury and is a tourist attraction in it's own right!!!
Of course you pay for the privilege of staying there but l had to do it once and now l have every intention of doing it again. Staff are magnificent....they should all take a bow!!

The Hotel was excellent. The room was designed very well and even had a computer in the room. There were plenty of power points to charge your phone. The bathroom was very modern with plenty of towels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was great plenty of everything. The Hotel is situated about 15 minutes by car to the Old City of Quebec and there is plenty of parking available at a cost of $15 for the whole day. Location was perfect right in the old town. We walked everywhere and never needed any other transportation. The apartment was big and clean with a great outdoor patio for relaxing after a day of touring. Exceptional staff. I had issues with my Visa card and front desk spent 2 hours trying to help me . And always with a smile , very personal and humane.
We stayed the first week of August, so we were able to use a pool too. Nice , clean and entertaining for kids .

The hotel itself was beautiful with a charming room with a fireplace that had the elegance of a posh hotel but the lovely aroma of a cabin. The valet's were amazing and were so helpful - even lending an umbrella when we went out an outting! -
