I loved the entire stay! Exceeded all my expectations. Great location, excellent worth for its price. Staff was friendly and helpful - offered to store my luggage even after checking out so I could enjoy the city before my late-night bus ride.
Breakfast was free and food restocked timely. The kitchen and bedrooms were spacious and clean. Big lockers available on lobby level. Felt like a home away from home. all reviews »
Their services for a hostel are excellent and I prefer them to a hotel
which is overpriced or noisy and people have done who knows what in your
hotel room bed but with this hostel you know they launder the
sheets/bedding and the space is eclectic - like your a student
again. Will stay there again when Im back in November!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Wonderful staff--very helpful, friendly, and open-minded; clean&comfortable; planned activities for each day; kitchen you can use to save money&cook your own meals; the location is great, everything is walkable; very safe and secure, even for a lone female traveler!.
The common room is spacious and comfortable, and there is usually something going on in the evenings. Cheap liquor on Fridays (sangria, woo) was pretty swell, too. Also, they had an N64! I also liked that the laundry was free, along with softener and soap.
It was good having a private room with our own kitchen and bathroom without spending much money. There was a cool relaxed vibe and everyone was really friendly. There were a lot of entertainment options including movies, Nintendo and social nights out.
Great location, funky design and great that you could have a private room with access to a kitchen and a nice balcony. Staff were helpful.

Apartment was good size and we'll appointed if a little dated. Location close to St Catherine is great. Staff friendly and helpful when you find them. Certainly felt like the place for a younger traveller.
They emailed me ahead of time to ask when I would arrive.
Some facilities were a little old, and the bathroom door creaks a little, but it didn't affect much.
It was difficult at times to find staff.
I didn't like the fact that the wifi didn't work very well.
My room was right next to construction (I guess that can't be controlled), and the bed was pretty hard. Wi-Fi signal was spotty in my room, but fine downstairs.
Bed was very small for 2 people. Breakfast very basic - toast and drinks.
I wasn't given a towel when I arrived, although officially I was supposed to get one with a private room. I didn't get one until I asked for it and then the clerk seemed surprised that I wanted it.
