The hotel is in a great location near the Tsarevets castle and a short walk from the city center. The hotel staff was helpful although english was not their strong point. The rooms were clean, spacious. The breakfast was decent(scrambled eggs, milk, concentrated juice, olives, cheese, ham, bacon, coffee, cereals, etc). Free parking, wi-fi access in the room and a dedicated pc station available for tourists.
all reviews » That was very nice, very cute hotel. Breakfast was excellent. We traveled with a baby, so they put so cute cot for the baby to our room. Location is very close to the fortress. And when we forgot one baby's shirt, they called us up. We couldn't come back then, but anyway it was so cute. Such as wonderful hotel. We have stayed at the hotel many times. Our recent stay for 1 night was to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. So, in order to be able to enjoy a meal out we decided to stay and The Tsaravets was our obvious choice. We have always been made to feel welcome. very goog location, kindly staff, clean rooms, buffet breakfast, free parking (video camera area) in front of hotel, wi-fi access in the room - very good for city break. Small hotel with nice, friendly and helpful staff. Very good location for sightseeing of Veliko Tarnovo. There are parking lots available in front of the hotel. The staff was very kind. The hotel has new/modern interiors and the room was very clean. Has it's own parking spots. Breakfast was ok. everything , a pleasure to stay here and the staff couldnt do enough for you , the room was fabulous and the breakfast very good. clean, close to hystorical center, elegant and with good taste the rooms. In one of the rooms, the a/c wasn't working properly and although the staff was aware of the situation, they booked us the room anyway despite other rooms being available. Considering we stayed only one night this wasn't a huge deal, but a discomfort level was present. So be sure to check that the a/c is working properly. safety deposit box very small, the shower has not cabin, only room floor wih a curtain, the ventillation could be better. Bathroom is not so well ventilated and the shower has no cabin (room floor with a curtain). everything was fine. no balcony and in the night if window is open you hear the cars outside but this is not so important. Needed a bedside light. liked everything. Breakfast could be more variable. Breakfast was OK but quite limited. Water was chargeable.
