I liked everything, the room was clean and modern, the staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The first night of my stay I got back to the room after a walk in the city and someone came and closed the curtains, cleaned a little bit and turned on the radio on a nice jazz channel. It was such a nice touch. I would definitely recommend it if you want great value for your money. Excellent location , new 5 star hotel with very beautiful artistic touches. Apart from that, what make it nice for me is the staff. . They were very friendly , and so helpful , all of them in reception , in SPA , in restaurant, in the bar .. all of you thank you very much.
all reviews » The panoramic roof bar/ lounge is amazing... Has some of the best views overlooking the city. The rooms were very spacious & comfortable and the complimentary glass of champagne on arrival was a nice gesture. Reception desk and the valet driver gave really good service. Fantastic large room with huge balcony, big bath in the room and a whole living space. Lovely modern hotel in a very central location. We were offered a drink of sparkling wine while we waited a few minutes for our room, even though we'd arrived hours early. New hotel right in the center of Sofia. Excellent service, clean, safe, great WiFi, wonderful breakfast. Likely the best place to stay in Sofia. And the price was extremely reasonable. Staff were excellent they deserve 200% gratitude. There were a few bits that could have been better standard in the rooms- sink didn't drain properly, the wooden base in the shower was not secure and you could not use the hair dryer in the bathroom as it did not work. Also, service at restaurant was not up to 5 star standard- menu knowledge poor/ wine pouring & temperature not right. Although the food was to a reasonable standard and prices were good for a 5 star. We were turned away from the rooftop bar, even though we were staying at the hotel. It seemed like it was reserved for rich and trendy locals, rather than tourist who wanted to have a nice drink and look at the views before bedtime. Nothing. Coffee maker, not easy to use and no hot water for people who like to take their own tea. - rooms were not very clean, visible hairs - quite a lot of small details in the rooms that were annoying, eg water in coffee machine had been there too long, towels were not re-newed, soap was not re-filled, etc. Nothing. The style of the Hotel is a very modern one, color in the rooms is mainly white, furniture also with very minimalistic design. Of course this is a question of personal taste but I found it a bit too stylish, too cold. None. would have preferred the bulgarian ingredients for breakfast (honey, jam, yoghurt) would be nice to have a water cooker in the room. If you are travelling with children keep in mind the SPA policy: no children under 14 allowed. Not enough staff on reception. An long wait to check in. The room cleaning quality was really bad. Did not change the towels and the sheets of the bed. windows cannot be opened. entrance location direct on the main road no possibility for parking , loading and unloading. nothing. No real Concierge servise.. The dinner at the restaurant could be better!. the breakfast could have a larger variety. A big minus for the fact that they charge the coffee you prepare by yourself in the room! At the end they didn't charge me, because I could prove that no informarion about this was given. Menus limited choice. Breakfast was great, but surprisingly it was lacking variety. no choice of pillows softness the lift call up buttons didnt respond quickly. nothing. Stairs with no rump for handicap and no children allowed in the pool. Service in restaurant and at breakfast definitively needs improving. Menu limited and not well balanced. Training urgently needed by all staff. It is not enough to be friendly as staff needs to develop professional skills. Once room was not made by 5 pm. Unacceptable. A lot of noise from the roof-top bar untill 2 am, poor and very slow breakfast a la carte. The used bandage on the wooden floor of the shower; the dust under the beds; the warm fridge (not plugged before arrival of the guests); not proper gym, nor spa; unfriendly staff in the 360-degree bar. Breakfast Speed of staff. Towels in the bathroom were, to my enormous surprise, dirty.. It looked like they have not been changed from the prevoius guest. This must not happen to a hotel charging 150€ per night.
