Good location (if you don't mind a pleasant 10 min walk to the city center), convenient bus stop 1/2 block away, comfortable bed, warm shower, ample space, no bugs, windows open wide to let in outdoor air, desk, chair, nice tv, a few decent breakfast choices, lovely backyard garden to have breakfast, nice swimming pool, quality aerobics machines, pleasant and sweet helpful staff. Hotel's location is perfect: in the centre of Bandar Seri Begawan, close to main attractions of the city (Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, The Royal Regalia Building). Staff is professional and hospitable. Ready for any assistance (taxi, tours).

They found a private tour arrangement for me to see river village and the wellknown mosques, royal museum etc. in the town in a very short time left untill my flight time. Location is good - better than expected, only a short walk to the Royal Regalia Museum and another ten minutes to the other downtown sights. Restaurant food was good and not too expensive. Breakfast very poor,not clean, not talk english,not very helpfull. The location is not too bad a good 15 minutes walk to the city. That's about all. Internet speed was a little slow, room kept far too cold when I first arrived, shower head a bit low for taller people, bldg exterior looks a bit old, price a bit higher than i'd prefer. All hotel's improvements are shabby. Building is old. Breakfast is not a smorgasbord (buffet). wifi was a bit slow in the room. Stains on carpets & bedspreads. Chipped & rusty bathtub along with duct tape on the edge of the bathtub. The view from the room was not good. Intact, no view except the tin roof. Although the room was reasonably clean, the colour scheme makes it looks a bit unclean and out dated. I think in comparison with the money was a bit expensive.instaed of $70 per night could have been $50. Wifi only in lobby. No coffee in room. Breakfast meagre.value for money poor. Overthrows on the beds were stained. Paying for pool table/gym. Pls improve your lift especially when it stops. The bedchlotes were not nice and clean. The furniture and bath room look very wornout. The card system used to open the doors of room was very weird, you have to push to card many times in order to manage to open it, if you are lucky. Room is not a good value but may be just the problem in Brunei. Room was small and only adequately clean. We had a double bed pushed against the wall on one side and sticking into the room on the other. Wifi worked but was inconsistent. Tv reception was bad. It's old design would be acceptable but: very old tv with only 5 channels (forget international news), ice cold air condition which cannot be swithed off completely and makes you freezing even with windows open. Breakfasts are very poor. The place is tired. Old 60s style decor, the place is just worn out. Not a good value for the cost. BED BUGS!!! We were completely bitten after night spent there. Cigarete odor in room, run down interier, needs a makeover. the room and toilet is clean but the faucet or top is broken the drainage of the bath tub is not working. Very noisy road outside, rooms in need of updating as were facilities. Plenty! The room are old and the fixtures are needed replacement (like 5 years ago). The breakfast is appalling and the hotels are also fill with the women of the night (if you know what I mean!). Not a good place to stay.
