There was a genuine effort to understand my needs. The hotel was opposite the center where the event was being held, it was also just 2 minutes away from a bright shopping mall, it was 5 minutes away from the TV tower and behind that is the market. Its a very strategic location for any visitor. The room was huge, much bigger than I needed. Breakfast was copious. The location near the Patio Brazil shopping center was very convenient. Lots of cabs outside the doo. Buses (when I was able to figure them out) left from a block or two away. In all, not a bad place at all.

The location is excellent -- a few blocks from a big shopping mall and across the street from a gas station with a convenience store, a snack/beer stand, and even a laundry place, which is not at all common in Brazil. I've enjoyed my stay and spent most of my days wandering around the city center, doing the civic/architectural tour, and had dinner in the nearby at Shopping Pátio Brasil. Noisy from traffic, but I suspect that would the case in most of Brasilia's hotels. Not enough English speakers on staff. No free Internet No iron or ironing board in room. the noise the smelling of "churraco' which came from outside at night for about half hour and. The absence of a reading light. run-down. Few English-speaking staff Facilities can do with upgrading. No service for laundry. The air conditioning is very noisy. The only thing that I really didn`t like was to have to pay the diary at the moment of my entrance in the hotel. They told me that it was a rule because the people frequently go away and are sure that the payment had be done at the moment of the reservation. Wifi was not included in room rate and connectivity was poor after paying for it. Lobby decor was outdated. Single room booked came with twin beds instead of a double bed. Restaurant, they didn`t have any wine (not one!), many of the options on the menu (food) were not available. Internet is not free, considering what they charge for a room it should be!. No one in the entire hotel speaks english!!! And personnel was not really supportive. They charged more than the rate announced in letsbookhotel.com. It was not really clean. Definitely not an option to stay. Nothing works! Internet is paid and does not work! Breakfast is bad! Room service is horrible: burgers and french fries of the menu are not available. There is no care in keeping the quality of the room. The air conditioning system needs cleaning urgently!!!! The noise all around comes into the rooms unbelievably... there is no such thing as "do not disturb" in this hotel...
