  We liked the friendly, helpful staff and the lovely room on which we got a really good last minute deal. Impressed that there was actually tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The breakfast was great! It was just 10 mins walk to the lovely old, interesting town centre. - The location was ideal for the nature of work .   This is the second time I have been to De Joker. I stayed in a different room this time. A beautifully presented stand alone studio with a separate/private entrance. Kitchen, small dining table, seating area, TV, comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Wonderful service yet again. I would gladly recommend and I'm sure I will stay here aga... what people say » in. - Owners was friendly and helpful. They gave us a nice and introduction. We stayed in the suite with balcony and it was a neat, romantic, large, duplex room. Room has its own kitchenette and it was nice making our own dinner. Not much to see in this area but it was a base for us for Brussels and Antwerp so it was OK.

  We are aged 28-33 and stayed here for the Reggae Geel festival in August 2014 as we did not want to camp. Hotel was great location 5min walk from Geel station.
