  We couldn't get out of bed and our room because it was soooo comfortable! The bed was a king size and hotel grade. We had a TV, kitchen, huge bathroom (the shower looked like a time travel machine), windows, utensils/plate etc, microwave, aircon...   Very nice situation, in the middle of the African quarter and close to both Louise and the European quarter. Well-furnished; not too much, not too little. Very comfy bed. Nice kitchen, nice rooms in general, with interesting furniture and minimal deco. - Apartment was a great size, and included a separate kitchen, living room and bedroom... what people say » .   I think having such a lovely welcome from the owners to such a nice apartment is very rare. I was usually placed in a hotel for work purposes, never again, I would love to return and often in the future. The other people living in that area be it in the apartments or bistro's and shops around were so lovely and helpful.   There was nothing that we disliked about the hotel. Personally we prefer to be "off the beaten track" which this hotel was. It was just oustide the city centre but on the tour bus route. The bus to the Central Station 100m fromthe hotel. It was easy to check in and out next door at the Renaissance, staff were very pleasant and efficient. A cab stand was a block away, and often cabs were in front of the Renaissance. The neighborhood was interesting, quiet, unthreatening, and convenient to Brussels attractions.
