I had a wonderful stay in Ghent, and I have to say that it was thanks to the very warm welcome I received from the hosts of the Cuberdon B&B. When I texted to say when I’d be arriving, they offered to pick me up from the station as they happened to be passing. (A very welcome offer after so many hours travelling). The room and ensuite bathroom were spotlessly clean and cosy, with a flat-screen TV with a multitude of channels (including a great selection of foreign channels). The breakfast.
