The rooms were always nice and warm. Always hot water in the shower, even at peak times. The room service was excellent. Totally enjoyed the buffet breakfast, in a nice relaxed atmostphere. UK tv in the rooms. Excellent value for money. Nice friendly family staff members. Quiet location, a clean, comfortable and well presented room, free Internet access and a good price. Close to Sint Annakerk and a short walk to Zuid Station, buses and trams but also not too far up the Brabantstraat to walk to Centrum.

We had to carry our luggages through many steep stairs. On the way to the central part there's a possibility to loose the way and occasionally get into a red light district. No wifi. The bed was a bit too hard for my taste. Nothing. The shower stall, while new and clean, was very small. Lots of stairs. The breakfast was expensive. No fridge (bottle of water) in the room. When it rains having so much outdoor area is not helpful, as the hotel doesn't really have any other socialization area. Also, no elevators and there is some walking needed in the open area (not nice when it rains) to get to the rooms on the first and second floors. Nowhere to park. There was no elevator, so 1st and 2nd floor is a problem with suitcases. No Wifi cable only No Parking. Hard to find and parking was 10 min walk away. no free internet connection. Not having wifi in the room was a real problem and did restrict us quite a bit. Luckily we found free wifi in the city centre. The room was also a bit too hot and stuffy. The drainage is noisy. room on top was warm, bad air, 2 matresses instead of 1 big one. Difficult to locate ,minute sign! Car park some way from hotel. The restaurant in the same building is very overpriced, and it's a fair walk at night to find anything more appropriate. It is not located very far from the centre but it takes you 10 min to arrive there We were in a second floor and it hadn't an elevator. Uncomfortable bed. Structure of the hotel is a labyrint . Except for the breakfast room, the hotel is not stylish. Strange smeel in the bathroom. Bit dingy and dark. The coffee apparat didnot work. The room is borrowing. The breakfast is too exp[ensive. Tah the extra tourist tax above the room makes it too expensive. Do not forget your mosquito repilant: ultra necessary because the hotel is by the canal! Internet connexion unavailable and nobody at the reception desk. Good and confortable hotel but expensive for what it offers.
