If you want fun – this is for you. It seems everything there is old, but in fact everything is new and modern. Good bed, modern bathroom, advanced TV, but also all sorts of vintage things - lamps, pillows, telephones, books, paintings... Especially stunning is trailer in the yard, which is equipped as a modern hotel room! Only, perhaps, there will be noisy to sleep, because people go near, but cool!.
all reviews » I can warmly recommend hotel Vintage in Brussels. Location ist good, rather close to public transport facilities. There are also some shopping posibilities as well as restaurants in the nearest neighborhood. The hotel itself is very modern furnished and have design decoration. I enjoyed my stay there, the staff was very helpful, offered breakfast contained high quality and tasteful food. I liked the staff at the reception, very nice people. The rest was a little bit not in my taste (strange colors and facilities). I don't think I would like to stay here again. But it's a question of taste. I know some people who are loving this hotel!. Fab hotel. Perfect for a group and would definitely return with my partner. Atmosphere was very relaxed. Breakfast was perfect. Location was great for shopping and had a nice local neighbourhood feel. Only €6-10 into town depending on where you go. Breakfast was fabulous! Buffet style with loads to choose from. The lounge area used for breakfast and a bar was very cool. Room was fine, great shower. Staff were professional and it was no problem for them to print off our boarding passes. I loved the concept. setting. If you want traditional comfort - this is not for you. For those who lived in the former Soviet Union, it is rather recent memories of poverty, from which we want to get rid... My room was on the third floor without elevator, ufff, not very comfortable to climb up and down with the luggage. Pillows were very uncomfortable, didn't sleep well. Nothing. Except maybe that the little mini tiles on the bathroom floor seemed very fragile and kept falling out/cracking. At one point I got a small shard stuck in my foot...... ouch!. I think having black carpet on the stairs - although a design feature - is a little too dark - sometimes even in the daylight, the overhead lighting wasnt quite bright enough, could be an accident waiting to happen. My room was a bit smaller than when I last stayed and didn't really have a desk to work at but not a big issue. slightly uncomfortable bed. Nothing. Better light for reading. A bit expensive, but I believe that it was because of the specific period (excibition, conferences etc). Booked a taxi for the aiport and only dicovered that is was an expensive limousine service in a people carrier once I got the airport. Felt very irritated. Synthetic bed covers and pillows. Very difficult to find this hotel. We left our car parked in Brussels because we walked most places or took a taxi, but even the taxis could not find it. We had to give the drivers directions so be sure to take a map with hotel along with you!. No free WI-FI at the room, only in the reception area. Interior soundproofing could be better. Hot water was luke warm, but it was cold winter so maybe that was the reason... Very thick carpets!. did not like that it was not clean. cleanness.
