The location was convenient to Gare du Midi and the center. The hotel itself was in a very cute area, a little quiet at night, but still safe. The service was friendly and helpful, the room was small but sufficient, the bathroom was large and in good working order, and the breakfast was really amazing. Overall, excellent value for the price!. location in the Marollen quarter, friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast.

Had a room in the back of hotel and did not feel safe leaving the window open because it appeared that someone could get to the window via the roof just below the window.The toilet is too small for a big body and the shower is not good. My room faced the back of a building (but at €50 ...), the power socket in my shower room didn't work.Of corse, we dislike when power was cut and we have nobody to claim, bur we understand that it was an emergencie. Immediate area was rather deserted at night. I did not like the renovation of the hall and stairs. It made difficult to find you way around the hotel and locate your room. Wireless not available in the room. Wireless only available in the lobby.surrounding was very laod from 5 o´clock in the morning. The status of the room at check-in time could have been better: there were missing lightbulbs as well as towels. The WiFi Internet was only reachable from the lobby, it would have been great to have it in our room (second floor) as well.Poor area, overlooking a gigantic flea market, beggars hang around all the time. The whole area is dead after 9pm - no stores, no bars. No WIFI in the rooms, the rest of the equipment (keys, bathroom) is shabby, like 40 years old. Batteries were dead in the TV remote control, the TV only had 2 channels, in the shower I had to push the knob every 3 seconds to keep the water running. The lift is very tiny and only operating during office hours. My roomwas on the 4th floor. There is no lift available. And the wirelessinternet was not available either in my room. This is very inconvenient.And the hotel is not very close to midi station.TV and one light didn't work. Bath room was very small. Communal bigger shower would be better. Heavily used or even broken matter in the bathroom. Its the sensitive part of a hotel room...The only point that I think the hotel should improve is the rooms' shower. It's worth mentioning that although the website indicates free wifi throughout the hotel this was not so when I was there, it was only available on the ground floor. The lift doesn't go to the fourth floor, and is not available when the reception is shut.I'm not complaining - it's a cheap hotel, for Brussels, and what's offered reflects that, so expectations need to be moderated.The surrounding area (marketplace), bars and resturant were empty and closed when I arrived at 20:15, in addition the resturant in the hotel itself was closed.The Marketplace starts business at 7 in the morning I was woken up at 6:10 by the noise. very small duble room! I´ve never seen smaller duble room. Resume: good location, bad (small) room for high price. No practically available daytime parking possibility nearby. Noelevator to the top floor. Elevator switched off after half past nineP.M. Small rooms. Two rooms we had booked were actually as far fromeach other as possible. small bathroom, poor heating. It was rubbish. there was no light in my bathroom and nobody could fix it. There was no mirror either.not corresponding to description, uncomfortable access.
