The location of the hotel is fantastic! You are at the same time in the very centre of Brussels and at 3 minutes on foot from the Central Railway Station and Subway (there is a subway gallery that leads to the Central Station just in the yard of the hotel), wich makes it very easy to acces from the airport and from whatever point of Brussels. Rooms were large clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The location of this hotel is excellent a few steps from the station and a short walk to the old Town Square many photos to be taken there.The weekend markets made it very pretty just below our balcony. Reception staff were very courteous and helpful.

Room location at end of first floor hallway and through a door was initially a little bit "offputting" but it was a non-issue. Staff was friendly. location was the best. We would like to mention 2 young men that worked at the front dest. Sorry, did not get their names. . . but one was from madrid and the other was born in Cuba. They were very helpful and we enjoyed talking to them. They are excellent employees!!!!. The hotel does not have too many non-smoking floors so even though I was in a non-smoking room, at night when I was trying to sleep smoke odors would come in under the door. Enough to be aggravating, not enough to request a different room as I also had the luck to be in a corner room with views of two sides of the hotel including the Grasmarkt.The hotel could have had a little larger map with the sights on it (once get get 50+ the eye sight is a little weaker). The check in time is quite late at 3pm, but they do store your bag if you arrive early.It would have been nice to have tea and coffee facility in the room, the welcome Letter and Biscuit was a very nice gesture for hotel guests. The address is misleading and if I hadn't checked the location on google maps, i would never have found the hotel.There should be Tea and coffee facilities in all the rooms. Pretty small breakfast room for the size of the hotel, almost nothingbut white bread. Everythink I like!. The room was a bit tired looking in places - needed freshened up. had to move to another hotel about 2 min away since the last occupant was ill and could not leave. No security at the front door. This hotel was open to anyone off the street, not just guests. People could come in and go right up the stairs to the hallways with the rooms, or to the restrooms near the breakfast room. There was a container with bottled water near the door for the guests to take, but we saw people coming in off the street taking the free water bottles.Breakfast should be included in the overall price. The staff--we experienced great interaction with some staff members while other staff members were not very congenial.
