During my stay I thought, compared to the prices of other hotels in the city, the quality and prices were amazing. I've stayed with other hotels in the area before and this hotel is by far better than other that were double in price. I would highly recommend this choice. It has a unique, classey reception and all the staff were very willing to help. I like the decision to mix the lobby bar with the reception services, as it brings more atmosphere and is welcoming even if you are coming in early hours. Also you may have a coffee while you are checking out. Being bartenders and receptionist the same time, bring a friendly and different approach than standard hotel reception.
all reviews » 5 minute walk from metro. 15 minute walk to Vienna city center with some nice cafes and restaurants along the way. Hotels location was quiet at night so had no trouble sleeping. Staff were very friendly, helpful and had very good english. The design in the hotel is very funky and refreshingly different!. As this was our second stay in Pentahotel and we are still absolutely satisfied by it's amenities and location (3 minutes on foot to our favourite Naschmarkt and 10 minutes to Opera and Kartnerstrasse), I can only add that the breakfast is way better now that it was last year. Very unusual lobby co-located with the bar, a plus after a heavy day. The structure is new well furnished and soundproof. Very close to the U-Bahn and overall to the city center there are several bars and restaurant around. All the staff is very young friendly and nice. Everything was great. The staff, warm, available , young and restless! :-)) Bathroom, room, nice, clean, warm. The price, excellent for the look of the hotel and the facilities. Breakfast, amazing, rich, fruits, cereals, meat, eggs, coffee!. The location of the Hotel is superb... Very near to the city center. The location was good, it was outside the centre of town and so a little quieter. In the breakfast , the mineral water is not included and it cost 6 Eur/ bottle. Sad. I feel breakfast is little overpriced.... It is just worth noting that there are apparently no double beds - just two single beds which can be pushed together. The room was very warm and the aircon did not blast cool air. Located in a busy street, so a bit noisy through the night. Breakfast far too expensive, but the ice-cream parlour down the road serves excellent breakfast for a fraction of the cost. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. No free wifi. Needed hot water jug and coffee and tea in the room . No free internet!!! All the places in the world provide free internet... No safe in the room, all safes are located down and you had to wait for the receptionist to open the room for you, why?. Some rooms are a bit small... 1. You get WiFi for extra pay for 24 hours while you are out of the hotel most of that time. 2. no fridge in the room. You have to pay €5.50/24hours for WiFi. Every 4* hotel should provide WiFi for free. The hotel is located a bit far out from the city, although we did quick walk it which took about half an hour. Expensive breakfast (at 19 euro per person) + no free Wi-Fi. breakfast for 19 Euro. Smaller rooms. The night restaurant was inside the lobbie. Very expensive breakfast. Design was a little tacky. It's not easy to find the hotel for the first time. The price is not valuable. The stuff gave wrong information to us about the transport to Prague. food a little pricey. nothing! except the breakfast is a bit much at 9 euro each. Surrounding is quite quiet. Bathroom tiles had stains. expensive internet. It was hard to find. No free Wi-Fi. stuff was very nice, but since there was not enough stuff very long delays in check in, check out and in the restaurants. Location - a little far out. If you buy wifi for your room, you can only use it on one device. -no free wi-fi -they charged extra money to my credıt card and don't reply my mails about this problem. Paying 5.50 euros a day for internet to single device. Wi-fi is not free. Staff needs more training, they are too young! Very noisy housekeepers, you could hear doors slamming and scream throughout the morning. In the room bathroom I saw some dirty water drops, the floor was dirty as well. Hope I was unlucky with that room because in rest the hotel is very nice. The hotel is 4 stars, but there was no minibar, no hot water jup. The single room was too small size. The colours in the corridors and rooms are very dark - dark grey, which for the winter does not make your mood "warmer". Bathroom! water is leaking from everyware!. Broken shower AC not functioning properly Pay internet Internet not user friendly. Breakfast 19euros per person Staff a little distant/cool. forgot cleaning one day forgot clean towels one day. mixture of reception and bar, reaching rooms through stairs... On the second day, the cleaner had put in old toiletry that had been used from the other rooms and dirty for us to use which it was disgusting so I will not stay at this hotel again. In the day when I make reservation, the hotel had taken the price for the room. Next day they had blocked my credit card for another 169 euros. When I arrived at the hotel they blocked my credit card for another 234 euros. I had breakfirst their and paided in cash also parcking place I paided in cash. I paided three times same service, even more ! don t go there !.
