This was the best place we stayed in out 23 hotel European tour and was one of the cheapest. This hotel is a couple of very large private apartments an d you have your own large room and ensuite. It is isvery quirky and homily in decore, not somehting I normally like but worked very well. Location is best in Vienna, breakfast good, comfort, every thing. Helpful owner. This is very kitchish, like staying at your grandma's place. Each of the 14 rooms is appointed differently. So a fun place to stay. Plus the staff is always very, very helpful. The breakfast is hot and cold and cooked right there, it changes every day too. And of course, you are a two minute walk from the museum and Hofburg area.

During the day, I think they turn down the heat, and it was prettychilly. At night it was fine. It's obvious that the beds and furniture,etc. are older and well-worn, but it was clean and comfortable, kind oflike staying at an aunt's or grandma's place. Strange smell from the toilet (which had a 'feces mill'). Room also smelled from old cigarette smoke (I guess there is no such thing as a non smoking room in this country). The decoration of the pension was somewhat... tacky.check in closes at 23:00. for us it was a real issue because the flight should have landed at 22:30. it did not. lack of staff members that speak english. Windows and walls are not good enough for preventing from noise. Bus 2A never shows up. as i have a very big luggage, it is a bit inconvenience for me to carry my heavy luggage up to second floor with long way step.Cramped breakfast room. very small breakfast room. breakfast room a bit small, fastly crowded and over heated sometimes bad smelling from evacuation holes of sink and shower.

Due to the central location of Pension Mozart you are almost in the heart of Vienna. The Naschmarkt is also located nearby. Alternatively you can walk down a quiet side street and relax in the middle of the big city.

Important information to guests

Late check-in (later than 23:00) is not possible. Please do not book if you are intending to check in after this time. Hotel parking vouchers are available at the reception on arrival. Please note that reservation is not possible. The vouchers are available only on a first-come first-served basis. They provide inexpensive parking on the streets within the 6th district but do not secure a particular parking space. Please note that the short-stay parking zone charges apply from 09:00 to 22:00 only. There is no charge from 22:00 on Friday until 09:00 on Monday and on public holidays. If public parking close to the property is not available, next less expensive parking garage is located at Museumsquartier (400 metres away). Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Pension Mozart in advance of your expected arrival time. 10 minutes away from Pension Mozart is the nearest Underground station (U-Bahn), Neubaugasse. From here you can access the UNO-city, Schonbrunn Palace, the Westbahnhof, the Wiener Prater, the Wiener Messegelande and the airport, which is 30 km away via coach from the Hilton Hotel.

The rooms are in line with the early twentieth century architecture of the building, all our rooms are equipped with furniture in the style of the Viennese tradition. Due to the historic architecture of the building, each room has its own character. The rooms are very spacious with an entrance hall 3.3 metres in height. Economy hotel rooms do not have a toilet in the room.

Travelling information

From the Western Train Station (Westbahnhof): Take the U3 underground line to Neubaugasse. From the Southern Train Station (Südbahnhof): Take tram line D to Babenbergerstraße. From the airport: Take the CAT (City Airport Train) or the commuter train (Schnellbahn) to Landstraße/Wien-Mitte and continue on the U3 to Neubaugasse. Pick-up from the airport is possible on request and at an additional cost (please state the number of persons, the number and arrival time of your flight, and how much luggage you have).
