Great hotel, quiet, nice view, friendly but not overwhelming staff. One night we asked for some ice from the bar and the bartender working gave us an entire cup full. Being from the US, that was quite nice! :-) We had a wonderful time!. Excellent location - near the City centre but still in a quieter part of the city. excellent staff, very good breakfast, fine room, very good value considering prices went up during football. Short walk to major points of interest, great breakfast, had our 2 kids with us, no issue. TV remote control was broken. And I did not get the invoice at the end.spoon in the minibar is not clean. The front desk staff, especially the day shift, during the first reception, should be retrained. They are not so friendly, helpful, or knowledgeable about things and what to do in Vienna despite the activities that they can have commissions. The room is fine but they should reserved a room with a double bed and two sets of towels although I am a solo traveller. The phone is also problematic.as with many European hotels, the beds were so so. My back is not in great shape so a better bed would have been preferred. Also, some of the desk staff was abrupt. Seemed more like a business hotel.
