Hotel location is excellent. Town center within 10 minutes walk, U-bahn (Kärtnerring/Karlsplatz) within 5 minutes and it is still quiet enough. Staff is nice, friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is really rich in choices. Recommended parking is near the hotel and there's an option for getting close to a hotel by car, for carrying luggage. Location: excellent - just in the center of Vienna! 3 - 5 minutes to the Stefan's Cathedral. Staff - very friendly! Mr. Alexander which worked at the reception the day of our arrival was very helpful and hospitable! Many thanks from us to him! The room: decoration, style and comfort.
all reviews » We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff, and our room, a jr. Suite, was good sized. The bathroom was excellent, just as it appeared on the website. Breakfast was divine! We loved it and appreciated the selection, and the kind servers. The location was great. We could only stay for a short time but was able to enjoy a pleasant time there. The staffs were friendly with a warm smile and that made us feel very welcomed. And the breakfast was also great; it was typical Wiener-style with various ham, cheese and bread. Air-conditioning in rooms works great, but in elevator and hallways is a bit hotter. Still, this shouldn't be a deal breaker as hotel is great otherwise. Also, in a hotel there's nothing much to do. The food was good, but sth to be done with the ventilation system. The carpets need steam cleaning. You could see the dirt. The sofa needs steam cleaning, too. The furniture was not very comfortable. The coffee table is too tall, made it awkward to sit at the sofa or chairs. a little bit noisy in the mornings. Breakfast area is beautiful but not very big, so it feels quite crowded when full. The room is not totally dark at night since the curtain cannot cover all the edges of the windows. We had to check out early because of room smell. They spray the room with a heavy chemical cherry scent. It made us sick and we stayed one night out of 4. We found an evening front desk person to be very rude. The breakfast was not good, long time to wait. Hotel needs a bit of redecoration - it has a tired appearance. Absence of ice machinr. Nothing. a bit pricey. Breakfast is most unusual and the way it is served creates a waste of food. we filled in a guest review on leaving the hotel so hardly thought it was necessary to answer the same questions all over again. No non smoking areas.
