We really liked your hotel. Its location was particularly good as was the friendly service and assistance your staff provided. We had to leave very early on our departure and we were provided with a take away breakfast. The guests lounge was really comfortable and had good facilities for free coffe/tea/juce, etc. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of everything I wanted to see and do in Salzburg. The hotel's exterior doesn't give much indication of the elegant interior. The breakfast buffet is extensive and was included in the room rate.

However a fan was provided and put to good use. It was a little hard to find traveling by foot. The street name was not included in the address and the sign was not lit in the evening. Didn't like the traditional locks on the doors. I found it unsafe incase of a fire that we needed to unlock the door from the inside to get out of the room.Couldn't leave window open due to traffic noise. only thing i would suggest was that clean glasses should be put in the rooms each day. we had the same glasses that we used for all of our stay. The entrance is a little bit difficult to find. We found access to parking difficult the lack of air conditioning was difficult because of the heat wave at the time of our stay, however, we understand the cost of air conditioning and if the hotel is conserving energy, we're all for that.Yes! The cleaning lady knocked on our door at 8 o'clock in the morning!. there is no air conditioning, but they can give you a fan, the interior is also a little old and doesn't look as 4 star hotel. Our room was at the top of the hotel so the room had a sloped ceiling, which was a bit low in some parts. Also, the top floors have no internet, but there is a free computer downstairs that you can use for free any time. no public bar. I needed an internet connection for my laptop computer and the reservation confirmation indicated that our room had such. However, no interned connection was available in the room and no room that had one was available. No parking.noise coming from street and other rooms.

Charming boutique hotel right in the old town. Very centrally located in the heart of the city just a few walking minutes to the major sights of Salzburg. The hotel is located in a 370 year old historical building in the former Archbishop of Paris Lodron residence.

It is privately run with a very personal touch. The hotel consists of 74 comfortable rooms and breakfast is served all day long.

By train:
- Leave Salzburg main-train station in the direction of the city centre - Mirabell garden.
