The staff were very friendly and welcoming. When we had problems with our TV at midnight it was no trouble for them to come and help us out. The bed was soo comfortable! I absolutely recommend this place if you are going to a concert at allphones or an event at ANZ stadium. The breakfast buffet is pretty darn good too!. Location next to stadium. The buffet breakfast was excellent for the price. The beds very comfortable. The rooms very quiet and dark. The parklands all around. The reception staff were fantastic,. Free entry to aquatic centre.

Great location to the Equitana. The bar staff were great. I Luv the fact that it is within walking distance to the aquatic centre & the athletics track & it is budget conscious but still quite comfy. We had a lovely stay & would recommend it to others. Coming from interstate to watch South's play it was so convenient to be staying right there next to the ground. Transport to the City for sightseeing also great. Sydney rained nearly the whole weekend, and I was surprised that as we reached the bar after the concert, we thought we could chill out for a while and have a few drinks, and was told that we could have one, but last drinks was just called. It was around 11.30 and it was a Saturday night. I was very shocked by this. The only problem I had was with the pay TV. I couldn't work the remote & the cost of pay tv was accidentally put onto my tab the check out clerk removed that cost on checkout though, so my issue is with the tv/remote not Ibis or it's staff. Scramble eggs. No pool facilities no shuttle bus options for sightseeing. Inaccurate information on local events. Nothing. Elevator broke down so only 1 working Also not enough signage in carpark to direct people to correct lifts Drink machine on floor had stuck buttons. There were some issues in providing us with directions to Southee Pavillion, which as it turned out was only 250 mtrs down the road!. The Air con didn't work properly Left key card in room to keep air con going, hotel cleaners took it out. Slow Elevators. People in other rooms inconsiderate with regards to noise. nothing. Staff at the front of house could be more friendly. Couldn't eat in the bar after a long busy day due to a private function. That it was so busy we couldn't have dinner before the show. That we drove around for some time before finding a parking spot so we could go & check in . we couldn't park in the drive entrance as there where cars parked everywhere . Thought it was a little expensive for a reasonably basic room. Restaurant booked out at 1.30pm even though we couldn't check-in until 2pm. Then had room service and only 1 chair in room. The Brewery was not open enough and did not serve food on a Sunday. Slow lifts. Nothing. Shower could have used a tidy up, poor maintenance in rooms for the money we paid. moderate travel distance to city centre. a bit noisy parking expensive. The Homebush area itself does not offer a lot to visitors, ie, bars and restuarants. checking into a dirty uncleaned room, we were given drink vouchers but spirits aren't included they should be for the inconvenience.. Orded a king bed and got two single beds which was disappointing. And bath floor towel was not replaced on second day. Only one chair to sit on being elderly I would have loved one each. Lack of cupbaord space and drawers for 2 people, we lived out of our suit cases. Rooms a littel dated. Cleanliness of both male and female bathrooms located in foyer - absolutely disgusting! Not cleaned often enough for volume of people. Food at breakfast - soggy eggs, very inefficient toaster, greasy bacon - high cost - very average quality. Room very small (and bed very small) for "king", overcharged on leaving and had to query it. Breakfast options variable - many things not available on Monday or after 9am.
