The luxurious experience of being in the Nolan apartment, 21 st floor in the sub penthouse with an amazing 180 degree view of the city and the docklands area was the highlight of this trip. A spacious three bedroom apartment all with balconies with magnificent views and a spa. It was luxurious and pampering. Close to transport, convenience stores, liquor store, restaurants and harbour town. Prompt service from friendly staff made the stay enjoyable.
all reviews » The view from the apartment was something else! Loved that we were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment without even having to ask. The pool and gym facilities are great. Very convenient location as restaurants and shopping are all at your fingertips. The free City Tram and the visitors shuttle are just a short walk away. A few days here and you wouldn't want to go back home!!. We booked a 3 BDM apartment & it was extremely spacious, modern & had all the facilities & appliances we needed. It had a beautiful view & the tram stopped close by which took us straight into the city. There were lots of restaurants to choose from too. We loved the location - close to the tram line, within walking distance of the main shopping area in the CBD. The 3-bedroom apartment was very spacious and well laid out and easily accommodated our party of 6 adults and two teenage kids. The views were stunning too. Location was great, nice to be able to have a choice of restaurants for meals or takeaways. City Circle tram was really close, Harbourtown shopping was also really close and convenient. Grocery store on the corner was a bonus as well. Staff were so friendly they took us right to our door to ensure we were all settled in. Location is perfect for docklands so close to everything but tram stop right outside to easy to get to city too. Lots of space for the cot. Great up and coming neighbourhood. Free tram outside our door. Easy access to freeway and within walking distance to the cbd, galleries and sights or in conjunction with the free tram. A very chic neighbourhood. Location and accomodation was excellent - just over from Etihad Stadium and could hear the music from our balcony - able to get into rooms after check in had closed, due to prior arrangements with management. It is nice enviroment and the apartment is very nice comfortable and feel at home. Easy access to city and right jnfornt is the free tram bus stop. Overall very gd. We arrived after hours and the instructions to our room were superb. The view and accommodation was fantastic. It more than met the need of our group. Great location Spacious Fantastic views. Limited access to wi-fi/internet. This is probably me just nitpicking but I think parking should be provided free of charge not $15/day. The factory outlet shopping centre close by was average. The main disappointment was lack of ventilation in the bathrooms. I did not realise the apartment was not serviced daily, given the timing of our holiday coinciding with the Grand Prix, the price of the accommodation was at the higher end which was expected, however I think I expected servicing to be included. Nothing couldn't fault it. There were some minor repairs needed in our room, but none that hindered us during our stay. No complaints at all. Could have been more toilet paper / dishwashing powder provided as ran out very quickly. Dishwasher smelly. Oven difficult to use as instructions around knob have been mostly rubbed off. Supply of oven /pizza tray would have been handy. It would have been helpful to have had access to WiFi supplied in the unit - in this day and age it is an expectation. We feel the cost of the apartment should have covered this. The apartments overlooked the main railway line and the trains start very early in the morning. Even though we were on the 17th floor we could still here the trains. Nothing. * Only air conditioning to lounge It was 40 degrees whilst we were there and bedrooms hot & stuffy * No fans either * Bedside lamps in main bedroom poor quality/wobbly and too low to read by. Gas cooktop stove needs maintenance. I know it's seasonal and there is no way it can be controlled but I'm yet to visit docklands when it isn't blowing a gale. room was surface clean but as we found glass in the carpet, tissues and rubbish behind furniture in the main bedroom, cleaners needed to look a little more thorough. Rubbish disposal was a major inconvenience & perhaps needed more signs to indicate where to go for this. Also, access to the apartment from the carpark was an unexpected difficulty as the closest lifts were not working. We found out we needed to walk down steps to floor 1, open with the key, walk down the non aircon corridor to the next lift to access floor 3. Wasn't the greatest experience with heavy luggage was all. The extra I had to pay for parking. I had two cars and one car spot and had to pay 2 fees - bit pricey. Parking should be included. Lots of people don't have cars so why the extra charge???. - average beds - not very comfy - too much light coming through blinds at night felt like sleeping during the day. there was no doona cover. reception times a bit random, as attendant has to close up to take new clients to their apartment. Not enough wine or champagne glasses Only one extra blanket in apartment Couldn't get movies on TV Difficult to get into our kitchen as the fridge is in a cupboard which opens the opposite way to fridge door... would work better if cupboard door removed! As our group was split up on different floors, ie 8 & 14 , it was difficult to go between floors as we had to swap keys for the lift! Hope this feedback is helpful without being too negative!. Apartment in desperate need of being painted. Couch old and grubby. The bathroom was a bit small for the four of us. the only thing was that there wasn't airconditioning in the bedrooms and lots of sun was coming through the windows . Noisy airconditioning. nothing. Rien. Our bed was very creaky although comfortable it was noisy. hard to find anything to complain about. No airconditioning in bedrooms and corridor of appartment. Needed painting and a freshening up of accessories and paintings (they were in cupboards or missing from the wall) Fly screens on doors for security. Check out time should be 12 noon. bed was only double but room was easily big enough for a Queen or King size bed. bed linen and comfort was similar to a hospital bed - could no way be described as luxuriant!. palladio apartment needing a bit of maintenance. Smell of the carpet area outside of the lift and our room it was not a good smell at all, maybe the carpets needed a clean. Window rattled in bedroom nearest the lounge, and with older children 18 & 20 having to share a bed, also there was 3 lots of us all in different buildings, but the last two problems were probably ours as didn't advise when made booking, but not sure we're we could!. Dirty windows.
