Everything, it was well worth the money spent!! Excellent sized executive suite, 2bdrm 1 with an ensuite, another separate bathroom, great sized massive wardrobes woth mirrored doors in both rooms, washing machine, dryer, decent kitchen utilities, good sized dining/lounge, great sized balcony, swimming pool has slight view over some of the buildings/streets, great area for sunbathing, bbq facilities, gym facilities, also supermarket is literally less than 1min walk from front entrance, also ba.
all reviews » Nice apartment in a great location. All basic necessities provided including a complete kitchenette unit. Very near to all amenities and shopping areas. Woolworth food store is just downstairs and is of great help. The reception are very supportive and extremely courteous. Especially Ms.Emma has been of great help. We will return to Republic Apartment in our next visit to Brisbane. Spotless apartment with amazing views, several balconies, excellent facilities including dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier, comfortable furniture and beds, quiet and roomy. Great location, 2 minute walk to the nearest train station and Fortitude Valley is a 2 minute walk in the opposite direction. Very friendly staff, value for money, central location, great facilities. Woolworths, bakery, bottle shop, doctors, newsagency all down stairs. Short walk to Central station and Queen Street mall. Was a return stay & booked again in December.The room was amazing. Extremely spacious, comfortable, Everything we needed from a washing machine to cups and plates it was all right there in the room. A big thankyou . You will see is again in the near future. . Everything we liked at Republic Apartment. Uh, nothing!. My double bed was a bit hard. TV aerial required repair and channels were not programmed. Tricky entry if travelling by car. no dislikes!. Room requires a paint. Not much to complain about. At some stage they might want a bit of cosmetic work doing but couldn't really fault it. 10 am check out $50/hour to have a late checkout (didn't do this) $.75 for phone calls. I thought it could be a little cleaner. nothing specific. Leaving!. I would like to see the room service increased to twice a week rather than once a week. bedroom stifling, party floor below on Saturday night, only one towel each for three days and a pool. Bed linen was very old with holes, but clean. No pantry or space for putting food except the fridge. Felt balcony with gaps was not safe for young children. no real dislikes. The 3rd lounge chair was not very comfortable the fan in the second bedroom was rattly and noisy. You have to book a car park, difficult after 7 hours of travel to find there are no car parks available. traffic noise at night oven did not turn off properly and toaster could use replacing. Nothing. A CD player in the room would have been nice. bad internet. Nothing comes to mind. Balcony a bit dirty with cigarette butts. unnecessary furniture e.g. why so many CD stands;. noise from outside. Nothing. Room 606 had a balcony that was surrounded by a chest-high concrete wall. Not an inviting area. Hot water adjustment in both rooms very poor - difficult to regulate temperature. . Early morning noise - we were on Level 6 which was too noisy for me. Would recommend that you request a higher floor. A bit cold in July with the bed head under the window. Limited hours of reception. Crockery not clean - had to wash saucepan and mug before use. Some items of kitchen utensils and crockery placed very high - unable to reach!. Initial parking was a problem. Roller door was very obscure. Tv did not work, weak wifi. It's not suitable for family with children.

Travelling information

CAR: Drive down Turbot St in the right-hand lane (one-way street), cross Wharf St, turn right into Raff St and then turn left into the first driveway - you will be turning into our Visitor Parking area. If no visitor bay is available then please use the Loading Bay park temporarily while you check-in (please park so that vehicle access is maintained in/out of the car). You will need to walk around to the front of the building (Turbot St) to contact the Manager using the front door intercom. TRAIN: From Central Station walk the 500 metres down Turbot St or take a taxi. AIRPORT: A 30-minute Taxi ride.
