I requested a room with a view as this was a special occasion. The room had a great view overlooking the river and park across the street. Most probably one of the best stays I have had in a hotel. The facilities were great and everything was clean and in a working order. This was for sure value for money. Loved the location, opposite the casino and close to nice places for dinner and the Queen St Mall. Parking was great, easy to find and secure with direct access to the building. Both ladies I spoke with at reception were very professional and friendly and gave an excellent first impression.

Staff were extremely helpful with all our queries and assisted with changing of our room due to original room being in a less than desirable location. We were very happy that we were attended to so professionally at all time. Love the self comtained apartments, handy as we've stayed both times after flying in from overseas. Rooms are always well equipped, clean and spacious. City noise is hardly audible which is great. Handy parking nearby. Walking distance to Queen St mall, Casino etc..,. Ease of getting around the city very central to city and South Bank. Was able to walk to ferries, train station and bus station felt safe. Great room everything was as stated via website. Reception very helpful with taxi services and luggage minding. The location is great close to the main streets and also near the river to jump on the city cat or pop over the bridge to enjoy the south bank area. The rooms were very spacious, clean and bright! Also the staff were helpful and friendly. It was very spacious, I ended up with a two bedroom apartment with a lovely balcony and amazing views over Brisbane river. I used the DVD player too, to do my morning workout! It was as comfortable as home. Location - great, close to mall and Southbank, Qpac theatre. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Carparking was easy and accessible. Handy having a kitchen so we could make our own relaxed breakfast. Excellent location close to shops, transport, casino and restaurants and walking distance to South Banks. View from Room 3003 were spectacular especially at night. Will definitely stay there again. The people on the desk were welcoming and helpful. Very good that the desk is manned 24/7. Both letsbookhotel.com and Casino Towers were very accomodating when we needed to change our bookings. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the 2 guys. Room was clean and there was cable. Felt secure. I used to stay at the Oaks properties in Adelaide too. We loved the location, and we had fabulous views overlooking the river and Southbank. The apartment's décor was really nice and modern and the balcony was large. Location & the Satff were Excellent! Couldn't stay longer but regular visits to Brisbane to drop my husband at the airport so will definitely make this 'our place'. The mattress was a little too firm though and the door to the balcony didn't lock!. The original room booked overlooked a job site with hot fans blowing onto our balcony. I didn't think this room should be charged at the same rate although I understand that the Oaks have no control over a property next to and adjacent to them. This was our 2nd stay (different rooms) and both times the dryer in the laundry sounds like its churning boulders...they need to be looked at (apologies to the neighbours). Broken cupboard in Kitchen. Water from shower all over bathroom floor. The bed in the room was a bit squeeky and May have disturbed sleep if you let it. The bathroom - between the shower screen and basin cabinet was filthy! The shower glass and tiles could do with a good scrub. A mix up at the time of booking resulted in an attempted double charge of all three 2 bedroom apartments I booked. Luckily Westpac Card Services as well as the hotel and letsbookhotel.com worked quickly to sort out. No wifi in the room nor lobby. The room tv should also have access to cable, where possible. I had trouble adjusting the airconditioning - it was somewhat cold in the apartment. The internet service was expensive and the lead for your laptop was very short, so you had to sit close to the wall to use it. There was no table on the balcony. The unit was untidy. EG: the unit 3006 Bathroom was quite a let down & needs some urgent attention to the grout in the shower. The Airconditioning did not work & we had to move units which was nice that they acknowledged this. Also the Dishwasher was tempermental and I believe needs upgrading. Have no complaints. The bathrooms could do with a minor makeover - the grout is dirty and could do with a good bleach!. Light on balcony didn't work, gym equipment average...good cardio equipment though. Gym equipment needed maintenance - the front left treadmill went upto a top of 13k's an hour (walking is 6k's btw). - The cycle (rear left) was basically useless. Nothing. No bathtub :(, no guidance on where to park the car during check-in but that's probably my fault for not reading about parking and checking in before I turned up. Main bathroom had no towells, I put my suit in for express dry cleaning and it cane back dirty and well past the 1pm promise (although was not charged for express I was still charged for a sub standard job). Besides that, the stay was fantastic. no ensuite in 2 bed unit. would like a river view next time. Mould - I can have mould at home, would be nice not to see it when I travel. We only had one cereal bowl, which we found dirty under the lounge and washed up while we stayed. There was nothing not to like. the view from the balcony to the air conditioning plant on the Telstra building (and the noise therefrom) (Thought all rooms faced the street). Ridiculously bureaucratic checking in. I was not allowed to check in because the booking was in my husband's name. Old tired decor in unit. Needs a refurb, or at least new furniture. Having to wait for staff to open the external door each time you return to the hotel. A little bleach in the shower wouldn't go astray. No restaurant in the building. Having a room with a large balcony that a tall office block (about 20 feet away) looked right onto. Did not use the terrace as a result. Not having a TV in the bedroom. Nothing. A second key could not be provided as it had been previously lost excuses like "for security reasons" were given - not acceptable. The balcony was not a pleasant place. No parking or pick up area outside the hotel. Had to go up to the next block to catch the shuttle to the airport. Mould in showers and bed not made properly. very hard to locate when driving in. Pre-payment (was probably my fault, didn't pay attention) - when I had to cancel one room the reimbursement took forever. Perhaps a bit more info on how to park prior to arrival would have made it a little easier.

If you are arriving by car, please contact the hotel for more information, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Entry to the car park is off Charlotte Street. The laneway leading to the car park is on the right hand side of Charlotte Street between the Telstra Building and the Pancake Manor. Please note this is not signed due to Council Regulations. In order to access the car park, guests are requested to turn right off Charlotte Street, just before the Pancake Manor Restaurant. The roller garage door is approximately 25-metres down this side street on the left. When guests reach this door, they must dial 101, followed by the bell symbol on the intercom panel. All hotel guests are required to park in the car parks that are marked in green with 'Hotel Guest' displayed on the ground. Failure to park in these zones and/or clearly display your validated parking slip on the dash may result in car being towed at owners expense. A damage deposit of AUD 75 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
