Hotel central location big city plenty to see metro transport cheap good transport over the city shopping centres very large with food halls coins required for bus transport cheap fares but you will have to know direction. Nice hotel, very warm and friendly staff, good breakfast included. I felt comfortable and safe and that was important. Loved Buenos Aires. Would go back to the same hotel.
all reviews » The lobby area was beautiful and old worldly. The staff spoke some English which was very helpful and there is car parking available for extra cost. Breakfast was ample. Right in Buenos Aires Centre, Close to the Retiro bus terminal. Very close to the Florida street, Paza de Mayo ... Ideal to visit Buenos at good and economical conditions. The position of the hotel, in the center of "microcenter" of the city, near to the main touristic streets of Baires (Lavalle and Florida streets), near to the "obelisco". Excellent location. We walked to and from Buquebus terminal. Very clean. Rooms more like a three and a half star, not a four star hotel rooms. Good breakfast. Location is perfect, staff is friendly and English speaking. The doorman didn't help us with our bags getting them in and out of car - 4 women. Avoid rooms 101, 102 or 201, 202 ou 301, 302 ... they are close to the lifts and noisy. We extended our stay by one night. The older gentleman at the desk tried to charge us $25.00 USD plus tax above the on line rate. The young fellow at the desk said he would match the on line rate. We ended up at an internet café to book the extra night to avoid the extra cost. Unnecessary and inconvenient. Bed was too soft, our room had an window into the wall, so we had no daylight. We were there just for night, but for longer stay that could be a problem. Avoide rooms # 1 and 2 at each fllor because of the noise (lift, stair ...). Older night clerk....too old school. Air condition. no air conditioning, you need call up assistance to turn it on. I tried to take coffe in the breakfast, but it was empty. Two breakfasts, the same. The rooms werent phonicaly isolated,we had problems sleeping. Noisy Hotel. Air Con was poor. Could easily have made my twin beds into the requested double with rearrangement and bed linen. Wifi for iPad not free. Lousy Internet connection for which I was actually charged at the price of high-speed. Not very clean; ashtray with smoked cigarettes from previous customer probably still survive in a drawer. This is certainly not a 4 star hotel, the rooms were like prison cells, luckily we only checked in for 1 day. it was old and didn't have wi fi even at the common areas. Doesnt worth the money it cost for sure!! Very old hotel Not nice bedrooms Not nice location. Rooms not clean..bas staff and breakfast. Dont go there the price is too high for what they offer..
