We just returned from a 2-weeks stay at Harmony hotel in Sarande. We truly had a fabulous time. It is a lovely family-owned hotel with a great terrace and magnificent sunset views. Very comfortable beds (extremely important when you stay 2 weeks!) and beautiful rooms. Last but not least, a big thanks to the owners, Genti and Elona (sorry for the spelling!) who try and succeed to make everybody feel at home. We definitely did. Our family had a lovely time and we warmly recommend this place. Reg.
all reviews » Owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean, having a fridge in the room was also a bonus. Beach right by hotel. Local attractions such as Butrint, Ksamil and Sarande town all easily accessible. Owner arranged cabs where required and was always around to help. The restaurant was really good and the hotel has a beautiful outdoor terrace. Breakfast was good and included freshly baked cakes. Felt like part of the family and would recommend this hotel, a really f. The owners were so friendly and spoke excellent English. The whole hotel is decorated to a high standard and the open areas and rooms are spacious. We ate in the restaurant and the quality was first rate. We were helped to choose, not being too good at reading Albanian! There was an excellent breakfast in the morning all served with a fantastic view over the Adriatic. If we are in the area again this hotel would most certainly be a first choice. Well I stayed at this hotel for 10 days and its superb.Great atmosphere from the family and staff are highly looking after you. Rooms are big and clean.I really had a great time with Ylli,the owner of the hotel and Margarita his wife will make you feel home.Its a very relaxing hotel and near to the beach.shops and bars around. Genci chef of the house is fantastic,food is fresh and also nice to have dinner in the terrace.From Fatos and Stela. A great deal of thought has been given to the appearance of the hotel and it is stylish and tastefully decorated to avery high standard throughout. The owner was very friendly and exceptionally helpful. He was also the cook and the food was excellent. Good views of either Sarande or Corfu from the room balconies. The hotel was also good value for money. I would certainly stay there again if I return to Sarande. Hotel is pretty ok, it's very clean. Hosts are great, they used to give us advices what to see and where to go, helped us to arrange rent-a- car, gave us directions to see some great wild beaches... Their english is verry good. Breakfast was included in price and it was good. Hotel has a great restaurant with a great food. Owner of the hotel is a kitchen chief also, and he knows his job! Great great great hotel!. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are very warm and welcoming, as well as professional. The Greek-style decor is gorgeous with some interesting ideas. It's very comfortable and only a few steps away from the beach. The food was wonderful, beautifully presented. The owners went out of their way to make the experience easy and enjoyable. Lovely small hotel with very nice, friendly and helpful staf. They also have a very good restaurant, propably the best in town. The hotel is not far from nice places to see such as nature wonder Blue Eye and archaeological city of Butrint (30 min. by bus or taxi). The best beach nearby is in Ksamil village (15min by bus). I really appreciated the staff, it is a family business and they all are very friendly and helpful Food was excellent, fresh and very tasty. Good wine as well! There is no private beach but local beach is 30m away with couple of beach bars near by. Lovely seaside inn with great views, fantastic views, gourmet meals, accommodating and friendly innkeeper and staff, great value for the money. We also checked out other hotels in the area, and Harmony was by far the best for location, price, and service. We could not fault this hotel. The staff were amazing and couldn't be more helpful. The food in the resturant was lovely and excellent value. Our room was very clean with a sea view. All the communal areas were very nicely decorated and clean. A very steep road down to the hotel but there is little they can do about that!. Absolutely nothing!. Nothing really. The bathrooms are a bit basic but functional. It's such a shame that the hotel is not near any nice beaches. It's a 20 min walk into sarande where there are a couple of nice beach bars and a 20 min bus trip to ksamil where there are some decent beaches. The owner will take you in his car uf hes not busy though. Unfortunately sarande is very unfinished and there is a lot if rubbish and debris lying around everywhere in the area. The hotel is beautiful it's just such a shame sarande is not. No wifi in the room. Breakfast must be definitely better. the internet connection is not stable at all. wi-fi was not too stable. - noise (unfortunately there is a bar/club right next to the hotel, we had loud techno music until 4 in the morning - it was impossible to sleep) - bathroom could have some improvements - by travelling a bit more in the south (maybe passing greek border) there are some beautiful beaches, but not really in Sarande. I do not like Sarande - very dirty, crowdy, and no parking places n the center ... And the beaches are gravel type, not sand type, with quick entrance to deep water. breakfast. The beach needs some improvements. Nothing really. Sarande. Sound insulation of the rooms is just terrible. First we heard our neighbor watching the Champions League final as if it was happening in our room, after that a huge party started in a club next door and continued with a very big noise until 2AM. There's another building/hotel being constructed right now between Harmony and the beach, blocking the views. People with children or with disabilities should bear in mind that the road/path from the hotel is an extremely steep one. very very small bath and room.
