  Stone Village is a marvelous place, it’s the best hotel we’ve ever been to. Actually it doesn’t have the feeling of a hotel because you feel like you are in your own little Cretan village, except that everything is meant to serve your comfort needs and wellbeing. Our two-bedroom apartment was spacious with a lovely view from the two balconies, and it was kept spotlessly clean by the cleaning staff every day.   This is a well equipped hotel for a family holiday. We thoroughly reviewed prior to booking but were still surprised at how large the complex really was. We had a fantastic water view (room 503) and it was close to the main building but far enough away to be private. We knew all activities were in French (which we do not spea - Nice hotel with beautiful views. Great food selection both for breakfast and dinner. Close to the sea. Only in the village of Bali you have to have in mind that everything is uphill which was fine for us though. As said in other reviews the hotel is mostly used by French people and all the activities are in French (which we didnt mind at all since we werent interested in them anyway) but all the staff does speak English perfectly.   Mit vier Personen (Jugendliche im Alter zwischen 20 und 22 Jahre) haben wir für eine Woche das „Apartment mit 1 Schlafzimmer und Meerblick“ in Bali gemietet. Die Anfahrt war etwas schwierig, da das Apartment nicht ausreichend ausgeschildert war. Nachdem wir am Hafen nach dem Apartment fragen, bekamen wir sofort Hilfe und fanden es dann sehr schnel... was die leute sagen » l. Vom Apartment sind es nur ein paar Treppenstufen zum Hafen, wo es kleine Restaurant s und Bars gibt. Das Apartment besteht aus einem Wohn- und Koc - Personal sehr bemüht, aber schlechte bis keine Englisch- bzw Deusckenntnise. Lade mit viel Treppensteigen bzw bergaufwärts - runter zu steigen, was bei guter Fitness zu bewältige ist, jedoch für ältere nicht komfortabel. Die Strände sehr voll, selbst im Oktober.
