Buss station is about 20 min walk and buss to Knossos costs 3€ each person. 30 min walk and you are in old town. If you like beach, it is 15 min buss trip to east. There is some noise due to the airplanes but not too much. Nice view at the port. The room is rather simple but enough for the 1 night stay.
