The staff at this hotel was one of the best I've ever experienced. Considering this is a 4-star and not a 5-star, my friends and I were extremely impressed by their helpfulness and friendliness. One day during our stay the pool had to be closed for a few hours unexpectedly while it was treated with chemicals. The manager came around to each guest at the pool and personally apologized. I traveled here with 5 other women for a girls' trip. The location is great for the money. It is a little seedy.
所有评语 » Staff was very friendly and gave great service. Room was clean and as described. Close enough to main part of the strip to walk every day. Restaurant inside casino next door (ellis-island) has good food at great price!! (Dinner for 2 for less than 30 bucks, steak 10oz and eggs 5.99$). We got a deal at about 800 for the room for 7 nights and it was well worth it. Kitchens in the room so it's possible to buy cereal and bread for breakfast or whatvever small groceries and save with restaurants th. I was hesitant about booking a hotel just off the strip but after evenings out in other hotels on the strip, rhe Platinum was a pleasure to come back to. We had a fantastic stay here and would recommend it to anyone. The staff, room service, the pool, the suite and the food were all brilliant. The fact that it was just a block away from the strip was, as far as we were concerned, in its favour ! Thank you Platinum Hotel for making our stay in Vegas awesome !. Platinm Hotel felt like peaceful safe oasis in consumer madness of Vegas. Could see bright lights from our lovely suite but felt away from them, only 1 long block . Hoover Dam worth a visit. Bellagio fountains lovely and just up road. Shopping outlets great. Happy hour in downstairs bar good for Dad. Very good value. Would recommend hotel but not the town to families. Wonderful suite which was well appointed and tastefully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen, tho we didnt use it, very nice lounge area, huge bathroom and spacious bedroom. Great to watch the nightlife from the balcony. Excellent meal delivered for in room service. Best hotel l have ever stayed in. Very helpful staff. Want to give this place 10 stars!. Hotel very quiet - nice to stay somewhere without a Casino which is non smoking. The pool is lovely. The staff were very friendly and could not be more helpful. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed - fantastic fridge! I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone. The beds were very comfortable, as were the fittings and furnishings. The huge spa bath was fantastic! The Platinum Hotel is probably the best place I've ever stayed for comfort, convenience and the sheer luxury of having a lot of space to stretch out. It was perfect for our needs. Everything! The room was fabulous: full kitchen, huge bathroom, spa tub, separate bedroom, washer/dryer, fireplace (we never used) and a balcony. We were upgraded to a Princess Suite after a shower drain problem with no additional charge, the room was fabulous!. Location- off Strip but close to action, close enough to airport Professional, helpful, friendly staff Fabulous apartment set up/ facilities, having a balcony for fresh air, self catering facilities , gas fire, comfy bed, big bath. Pool area. This Hotel Is Just Of The Main Strip So You Dont Get All The Madness Of Vegas But Is Only 10 Mins Walk From All The Buzz.It Is A Non Gaming/Smoking Hotel I Would Recommend Eating Here It Is Much Better And Just As Cheap As Anywhere. Standard of cleanliness is excellent. Location is good, just a 10 min walk from the strip. The valets provide a house car for short journeys. This is a great alternative to taxis. This is a free service (just tip the driver). Everything was perfect, we were upgraded when we arrived. The suite was excellent with a breathtaking view of Las Vegas. The restaurant was very good with excellent service. Would definitely return to this hotel. The room was extra spacious, view from the room was superb, very comfortable for a family on vacation, amenities were complete, it was as if you didn't leave home as all your basic needs were available. Accomodation was excellent and very spacious. All staff were very friendly and helpful, if you want a hotel which is away from the strip I would have no hesitation to recommend the Platinum. The room size was large The kitchen had a large fridge including an ice maker The rest of the kitchen was well equipped and spacious Having a separate lounge and bedroom suited us. friendly service, no wait to register, helpful concierge, excellent service at the bar, very clean washrooms and poolside surroundings, also I loved the papason chairs and firepits. The suite size was impressive, with full amenities, and quiet. Super pool area on the roof and 2 restaurants. Happy hour from 3 till 8. Short walk to Ellis Island casino. Excellent value and very comfortable. Full kitchen would be very convenient for families. More low key and not a crazy party scene. Also very quiet at night. The room was really nice & well-staffed for a longer stay with a full kitchen. Also the pool & restaurant was nice. The staff was always helpful. The size of the rooms was great and that the bedroom was separate. The hotel was not the typical large sprawling type. Overall, a great place to stay. But there are plenty of other options around!. Have to walk off strip for 5-10 mins on side of the street to get to the hotel and theres bums in the area. For a couple its not bad but 2 girls at night might not be the best idea. (Its not that bad, but it is to be considered if its girls only). Valet parking only. The option of self parking would be nice! Also one beautiful sunny afternoon at 4pm we had to vacate the pool as there was a wedding. 5 - 5.30pm would have been far better !! That aside all was fabulous :). Touts on streets pushing sex brochures to everyone even the kids, mobile truck sex ads, having to walk throgh smoky flashy casinos to get to restaurants. Only moan re hotel was valet parking a bit of a nuisance and had to pay extra for pans which may have been an issue if we'd stayed longer. Washing machine would have been nice. Absolutely nothing. Rooms perhaps a little tired - but that is not really a negative. The cleaning was a bit basic - but there were always plenty of clean towels and clean sheets so the most important bits were covered. It is a little far to walk but then Vegas is all about walking given the distance from one end of the strip to another so I would not let that put me off either. We took a look at the pool on the first day, which looked absolutely fine, but I wouldn't use it for the simple fact that the relaxer chair cushions looked absolutely filthy! But at any rate, we couldn't use it after 4.30 pm on the second day because it was booked for a private function. Nothing to complain about. Nothing. Did make two requests when booking for a low floor room and for the kitchen to be equipped with pots and pans. On arrival we had been placed on the 14th floor and unable to change because our grocery order had been delivered and unpacked. No pots and pans were in room, but this was soon sorted by housekeeping. Restaurants were not open in the evenings. Nothing!. Staff were quite indifferent especially those at the front desk which is quite surprising. The ''2 blocks'' walk took about 15-20 mins. access to the hotel driveway could be awkward. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the strip,and at the side of a petrol station where some street folk hang around at night, although they never caused any problems. the valet parking was a bit I needed to get used to. & as I tipped the guy there every time, is was a bit strange (at least for a european ;-). It was a bit far from the Vegas strip - about a 15 minute walk. That it was a valet only parking garage was a negative as had to tip every time we took out the car. The walk to the strip was not far but seemed a little seedy. Only one negative; ordered breakfast one morning via card on my room and it wasn't collected/delivered. Did receive full apology. Parking only valet. So You need to wait and it's free of charge, but it's necessary to give tips to the guys who bring You car. Electricity and gas station right under the window. Not all staff are friendly. Only one mouse for TV's, room did not get fireplace. Nothing. Pool was small. Quality control and detail mgt. During a 4 day stay, two burnt lightbulbs, not working light switch, ran out of saucers, out of ice cream, out of featured craft beer, not good at coffee cup refill, deliver food to wrong table, dont know special, etc. All small stuff. Staff friendly and willing but no well trained. Being a couple of blocks away from main strip meant at times our 9 and 12 y.o. children had to do more walking than they'd have liked. It was expensive compared to other hotels in Las Vegas. You paid for the space. The need to tip valets when there was no option to self-park was frustrating. fitness room was not what I had hoped for. The is not really something negative abou the hotel. Just u should know that u have to walk about 5-10minutes to the strip. A couple of spots on the rug,water dispenser from the refrigerator did not work last day of our stay. Location a bit far from the Strip, although in fairness this was stated in the publicity. We did have a few "plumbing problems" but they were fixed quickky. Although the suites were luxurious, we felt the service didn't go "the xtra mile" eg the bed wasn't made very well, sometimes the toilettries weren't replaced 100 Per cent. Overall impression, good but could have been better. Sun loungers not comofortable would of been nicer for thicker pads. Room not cleaned one day only bed made and towels changed. The pool was on the small side and it was next to impossible to get a cab for some reason. It was very frustrating and made me late for my own wedding. Eventually we had to drive ourselves. Getting a cab at every other hotel was no problem. Some of the staff didn't explain much to us. We had to call to ask a lot of questions, that we heard them explain to others customers. Somehow they skipped that part, with us. Restaurant not open in the evening. No pots, pans or sufficiently equipped kitchen.
