  Staff were friendly and helpful even though we spoke no Portuguese. The hotel is organised very well, very clean and safe. We went for Carnaval, it was the perfect location for transportation links or walking to the many parties.   Helpful English speaking guy at the reception, good transportation to the center, good breakfast comparing with the similar standard hotels in Brasil - The English speaking guy Gabriel was a life saver as we couldn't have got anything done without him to translate, I think he might have just been there for Carnaval though. It is easy to get into the centre by train but takes about 45 minutes-an hour. Breakfast was a bit chaotic but there was really good coffee and amazing fresh juices.

  The price was great, stores in the area was wonderful, close to the Madureira Subway train station (4km). Lots of Hot water was great, bed and shower was large.
