  This hotel is relatively new and it shows in the way the rooms look clean and modern. The room has all the mod cons, including free internet in every room but the first room we were in was with a small window. Staffs at this hotel have been well trained, and go out of their way to be accommodating and make sure the guests are happy; nothing seemed... what people say » too much trouble for them. It is also well located as it's on the edge of the old quarter but only 5 minutes from the lake and more peaceful surround - It was a very nice hotel and quiet location yet close to all the main attractions of Hanoi. We found it very relaxing and very friendly. The staffs are very helpful and very polite. Staff at the front desk was particularly helpful. All the staffs made you feel attended to and welcome. The breakfasts were fantastic and the restaurant is excellent, but a bit pricey for Vietnam. We had a great stay and would not hesitate to return or recommend the hotel to fellow travelers.

  For visiting the Old Quarter the location is as good as it gets. Looking around at other similar priced hotels in this area the Tirant stands up very well. The small rooftop pool is a bonus when escaping the heat and busy streets. The staff in the hotel are excellent and helpful. Bella on the tour desk especially so.   The friendliness of all the staff made our stay very special. Everyone from the doorman to the manager were so helpful and welcoming. The suite was so beautiful and clean. It was lovely to sit out on the terrace at night and watch the activity below. The breakfast had quite a good selection and was so spotless. They pick up us from the airport very late at night only for 4 $ more than the usual price and to the airport at the same price that all the taxisand they kept our lugage to go to Halong Bay.
