What people say
Great experience start to finish. The online concierge was very
responsive. Not only arranged for early check-in, texted to tell us the
room was ready. Apartment was spotless. Granite & stainless kitchen.
Free wifi. Building was beautiful -- be sure to check the view from the
rooftop deck. All for the same price (or less!) than a hotel. Dozens of
great Washington attractions within 1-2 mile radius. Located near very
good restaurants, 1/4 mile from the White House. We are recommending

The one bedroom suite we had was well appointed, appealing and
comfortable. The price was reasonable and the location was wonderfully
close to the attractions we wanted to see. The rooftop courtyard was a
nice bonus - we could see a number of recognizable memorials /
attractions from it. The parking took a couple fo turns around the block
before I identified it, but the parking staff were excellent. Also, the
parking price was one of the best for the accomodations I considered.
The Apartment was large, and comfortable (beds, sofas, etc). It was
fully wi-fi and good cable televisions in the bedrooms and living room.
All the appliances worked (including washer and dryer) and were modern.
It also felt like a safe and secure place on a wide vibrant street.
There is great dinning in the area, but Whole Foods is a pleasant walk
away for those times you want to eat in.
I loved that it was literally no-fuss. I came in and was given keys and then at the end of my stay, gave back the keys. Didn't have to really deal with anything else. The room was very nice and comfortable. Had all amenities I needed (except coffee, but there was a coffee maker). I was very happy here.
Beds were very comfortable. Layout and comfort of furnishings were great. Loved the separation of the bedrooms on opposite side of the apartment. Our grandchildren loved the internet café. It gave them something extra to do when we came back early to the apartment (and quiet time for us).
The rooms were quite nice and well outfitted. The business center and gym were more than adequate. Once staff figured out I had a reservation, there were no difficulties getting into my room. The building was well situated and quite attractive. One block from the White House!.
Prime location: just across the street from the White House and some ten
to fifteen minutes on foot to the Smithsonian. Grand entrance with a
24/7 doorman. Great view on Washington from the terrace. Free wi-fi.
Personal mailbox and a phone number.
Great location for exploring the city. Studio suite spacious enough for 2 adults. Loved the roof top terrace in the evenings. Plenty of restaurants locally.
It was absolutely great, It was a home away from a home. My children loved it and the location was right at the centre and very accessible to the center.
The location! The ease of use with the fob. Staff were very nice.
They fixed our door knob as soon as I told them. The wifi. And the
roof top view!!!.
Very comfortable self-service apartment with one of the best location. Service staff isn't based in the building but always responded very quickly.
The location is fabulous. Comparing it to a hotel...it is quiet no hall noise, making it soo much more relaxing! The roof deck is recommended!.
Safe, comfortable self contained accommodation. 2 min walk to White House, 5 min walk to station, 8 - 10 min walk to town centre. Very quiet.
It was handy to the Mall but not much in the way for food shopping.
Clelan and modern, roof top view...gym looked good but too busy to use..
It was like being in a home away from home. Had everything needed to stay for long period of time. I loved the terrace on top of building.
Staff was AMAZING!! Building was AMAZING! Room was the best!! Way better than ANY hotel. Loved every single second of our stay!!.
Great access to many Washington sites - a wonderful alternative to a typical hotel room. Access to the roof was an added bonus.
I loved the central location of the Woodward. It's so close to the Whitehouse, metro area, and a short walk from the museums.
Great location, near White House, amazing appartment, a lot value for the money, we totally enjoyed and felt like home.
Lots of space
Modern design
Wonderful staff and communication
Location very close to major DC attractions.
Great staff. Liked the swanky furnishings in the room. Location was fantastic for sight-seeing.
Loved the privacy, the apartment, the extra airbeds, & the concierges were both fantastic.
Location location.1 block from White House. Rooms were nicely decorated and fully equipped.
Great location, quiet, easy check-in/out. Clean, good facilities in the apartment.
Friendly staff, close to national mall. Washer & dryer in room was a plus.
The location was excellent and the staff we're very friendly and helpful.
i liked the privacy . . .
being close to the Obamas was cool too . .
Liked everything-nice to have a full kitchen and washer dryer.
Great room and decor
Comfortable
Great location
Upgraded room.
i liked that it wasn't busy. Very quiet in the busy DC area.
Superb location, good facilities, efficient concierge.
The location was awesome. The property was beautiful.
Almost everything in this stay was a good experience.
Great washer/dryer included. Very secure and private.
Perfect location. Excellent standard of accomodation.
The apartment was great. Clean and very comfortable.

I'd have to work to find a negative ... the outlet in the bathroom
was broken and didn't get fixed while we were there, but it was a
weekend. Apartment kitchenware was good. We'd recommend they provide
dish soap, a colander and perhaps a box of tissues. And if they want
guests to keep the heat down in winter, perhaps a couple extra blankets.
Not complaints -- just suggestions.
My only complaint stems from a phone call I made when arriving. I was
trying to find the building adn the parking and called BridgeStreet. It
was after hours (~7pm) and my call was sent to message - a little
frustrating, but the message indicated I would get a call back within a
short time. I actually got a call back ~4-5 days later...
Not one complaint, but did not think in advance about the fact that
this is a very nice apartment and not a hotel. No room service, and you
have to buy such things as coffee filters. Like I said, not a
complaint, just a fact.
No coffee to make in the coffee maker.
Furnishings in lobby need a little upgrading.
Bridge St has to do a better job of notifying staff about reservations, so check in procedures are clear to the building staff. Also No one knew how to operate the messaging service on the phone, and I could not retrieve a vessate.
The bed was too high and soft to be really comfortable. Besides, the
headboard was not properly attached. The furniture was too bulky for
such a small space, leaving restricted passage between the writing desk,
the bed and the sofa. No view from our windows (#912), facing directly
the wall opposite. Just one coffee pack (type K-Cup) was provided for
the entire six-day stay.
Reception staff had no knowledge of courtesy bicycles as mentioned on your site but there was a stand of the DC city hire bikes over the road..
Amazingly, I loved everything.
I called to find out why we were moved from the 11th floor to the 8th
and got no response. The door handle to our apartment fell apart. The
coffee maker didn't work and the lobby coffee was bitter. The paint
was chipping above the shower and a prior tenent had a cat that left
scratch marks on the door frames. Our son is allergic to cats, but your
cleaning staff did a good job, because he didn't have any issues.
If can systematically change the towel everyday it'll be perfect. Actually after we asked for change, they sent people to deliver clean towel on the second day.
The bedroom could've used black out curtains.
Room had a odor.
First time I walked in, the lobby had a strong odor like someone threw up. This odor stuck around for 2 days before someone lit incense. Otherwise, all good.
Nothing it was perfect!.
Poor showers, they had very little water pressure and not very hot.
Climate control system kept switching from AC to Heat and back again... Wasteful and annoying to have the AC running in the middle of winter!
No shampoo or conditioner in bathroom.
Liked everything.
Sofa not very comfortable, no pool - place was a bit "soul-less". Long walk to grocery store.
Hot water wasn't hot in shower, only warm. Bed too soft,.
the parking was expensive and the attendants were rude and slow.
Cleaning crew arrived early.
Bed comfort not the best. more dishwashing soap needed.
The government was shut down.
Our room, probably one of the least desirable, was a bit noisy at night due to adjacent building air conditioner. This despite double glazing on our windows. The building next door should fix their problem.
Nothing not to like about this accommodation.
The concierge was not especially helpful when we needed assistance or had questions.
Needed more towels and bathmat in bathroom. It was warm outside and the bed only had a heavy comforter. Would have been nice to have a light blanket. A dining guide would help first time travelers to find nearby places to eat.
Only having 1 tea bag and no kettle.
Nothing.
the mattress.
There were a couple of electrical outlets that didn't work in 515. On the kitchen counter and out of the stove. Could have had hair shampoo. Otherwise, perfect.
Price dispute after my booking was confirmed
Booked a one bedroom and was given a studio with no explanation.
Self check out is good. Howver, I returned everything in the envelope
when check out but received email indicated missing something. I
haven't received the email to confirm my case. There should have a
better way to make sure everything clean when check out.
not enough hooks to hang the towels in the bathroom.
not cleaned, trash not removed, beds not made or sheets changed, clerk has nothing to do with motel rooms and no receipt of charges when leaving!.
Lack of amenities.
Lack of Personal Warmth.
Snobbish toward short-term renters.
Te staff was uninformed of the area?.
Didnt like that you dient hqve a sign signifying location of hotel.
Booked a Suite got a room with kitchen, desk& chair squeezed between couch & bed. No staff on site On arrival. Parking not as "advertised" on website (not "valet" & more $)
Internet did not work & after hour service didn't call back with solution.
I've maker broken & since we were only there until Tuesday there was no time to get repaired before checkout
Not a good experience from start (website is misleading re. "no cancellation fee") to finish.
