This hotel was amazing. From the great continental breakfast to the complimentary wine and cheese hour, everything was impeccable. The staff was lovely and attentive and the room was clean and attractive. The little things made all the difference: free bottled water, cookies with turn-down service, free wifi, free shoe shine, free DVD movie library and free coffee/tea in the library every day.

They give the impression that they are most gratified to see there guests being well taken care of. Similarly, at breakfast and at wine hour, the staff seemed genuinely happy and that sets the tone for guest relaxation. Hotel Drisco is an amazing place to stay, but only if you like to relax and have some quiet time away from the usual noisy touristy hotels! Hotel Drisco is almost like being at home... cozy, peaceful, warm and comforting! Staff, decor, breakfast, and wine reception is fabulous! There is always coffee and tea ready when you come in... even late! Enjoy!. Every single staff member at hotel Drisco makes you feel valued at each interaction. This special hotel is located in the probably most luxurious residential neighborhood in SF. Great views, safe, quiet. No parking problem. There are a few vibrant restaurant areas within a mile walk. It's a bit of a climb to walk back of course. The customer service was excellent. Unpretentious, quick, kind. There were so many details that have gone by the wayside in other hotels. I have been sitting here for 20 minutes now and I cant think of a single anything. Nothing!. It was a little far from where I was going ....but the taxi cost was offset by the free parking. Street noise as our suite was at the front of the hotel. Noise from the heating system. Parking situation is a bit annoying but the hotel took good care to address any concerns by moving car to accommodate short term parking on street. All was well done, but Room 202 would allow more mobility if the dresser was 10 inches or so less in depth [so that one could more easity move through the room. Room too cramped. Wish it had a restaurant. I got significantly overcharged by the hotel. When I brought it to their attention, I was only partially refunded.
