The hotel is quite close to the airport thus it is a good choice for a "transit hotel". When you arrive at the Orlando Airport you need to Terminal b to the Transportation Floor and find the free phone kiosk and let the Hotel staff know that you arrived and need the shuttle bus to be sent for you. It usually takes them 30-45 minutes to get you so be patient. Bare in mind that you pay $40/night and you get free transportation from/to Orlando Airport (mco) then you get a spacious room a good show.
all reviews » We just needed a clean, safe place to spend a night between flights, and this fit the bill. The Chinese resturant the recommended modified a dish to accommodate my dietary restrictions and delivered 2 piping hot meal for us. The refrigerator and microwave in the room allowed us to eat the leftovers for breakfast. My Mom liked the waffle she had at the complementary continental breakfast. The shuttle to and from the airport was qick and efficient. First off I have stayed in 4 & 5 star hotels & had issues. I honestly thought this was going to be ok but the staff is the best. A wonderful lady serving breakfast, great service in the front counter around 10pm when I showed up & helped me, & the cleaning staff that takes care of the room. Everybody is wonderful & a gives a great vibe. This hotel is close to the airport, clean, friendly, and is ideal for people who come into Orlando for a Disney or Universal Resort vacation and fly in late. It is close to the airport so you can not waste that first day's ticket. Take the shuttle, spend the night and then take the shuttle back to the airport to make the most of your resort tickets. The location great, the parking lote lighted and big, the breakfast helpful, the suite was big and confortable, the service good, the pool and jacuzzy great, the minibar,microwave,refrigerator a plus(helpful), the pet allowed was why we choose this hotel was great enjoy Orlando with our dog..the price great..thank you Travelodge !!!. Hotel manager John fast response to customer .housekeeping supervisor and his employee nice work ,always asking me if I need something else very polite and friendly,Ivonne my houskepping..never saw a person who really care about customer or job as her,she really clean my room everytime front top to bottom very detailing amazing. The a/c unit wasn't working correctly, and the Maintenance guy Mike was outside painting so I ask him to take a look, he replaced the a/c unit without blinking an eye, he put the guest first!!! Thanks mike you kept me cool!. Facilities are old but kept well and clean. Helpful staff. Close to Universal. They also have free shuttles. The pool and jacuzzi was clean and nice. Overall it was very good value for the money!. The room was ground floor and relatively quiet, which we had asked for. The free shuttle bus took us to and from the airport. Conveniently close to the airport. I liked the size of the rooms and the close location to the airport. Also the way the manager handled the misbehavior that happened in the hot tub area. I wanted a budget hotel with shuttle transportation to the airport. The Travelodge met my needs and I will stay there again on my next trip to Orlando. The size of the room, and the amenities that were provided (fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, etc.). The room was very clean and cozy. Stayed twice - once in a room and once in a suite. The suite was much better and a great value. Pool was nice and the other guests were friendly. we missed our flight and my daughter found a special on line for travelodge at a great price. we loved the entire experience. We stayed overnight between flights and hotel was convenient to airport. Airport shuttle is a good feature. Clean and the bed was really comfortable. We had our little dog with us and he was glad to be in our room!. Front desk staff provided all the info we needed when we needed it. The pool was very nice. Quarto grande. Outside the hotel, we realized that it wasn't a walking around place. old towels, old bedding...slow wifi on 3rd. floor. Second night ,front desk mike knok in my door at 2am telling me that I not suposse to be in that room,next day hotel manager John apologies to me and told me that was a misunderstanding on front desk. And gave me a free night. You need more toasters!!!! Lol. The shuttle bus did not follow the stated schedule. The breakfast room was so congested we couldn't get what we needed before it closed. (We arrived with half an hour to eat.). The whole facility needs a real good cleaning and minor patch jobs needto be addressed. Also the beds and bedding needs updated. the a/c was outdated, and noisy. Everything seemed old and worn. Nothing. The clerk was alone and overworked and it took a long time for our room to be assigned. Also tried to dial phone in room for a wake up call but it wasn't working. They didn't have any toothpaste at the front desk. I thought the room could have been cleaner. The continental breakfast was very minimal and the staff not very friendly. The suites were in a separate building and one had to go outside to reach the lobby etc. Need an update on decors,bedspreads. More attention on cleaning in hall,stairs and elevators. Tile grout in the bathroom. very under staffed...in fact had the staff not bee of excellent professional ability, the low numbers would have let the hotel in a tight spot to maintain its popularity. Airport shuttle slow. Old carpet and linen. Ceiling leaking and roaches in the room. Old.rooms. Bathroom had a leak, you could hear the water dripping all night. I didnt like was that on my was not towels. I called to the front desk and the housekeeping didnt bring me any towels.
