I first checked into another hotel and it was not up to my standards. Old and musty. I went on the internet and found your hotel. Excellent rating. I booked in and was very happy here. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Wished I had stayed my whole trip here. Very comfortable room. Wonderful continental breakfast. Close and convenient to airport (MCO). We chose this hotel because we had an 8:20 am flight and wanted to be as close to the airport as possible in a reasonably priced attractive hotel.
all reviews » We ended up leaving a bag of dirty laundry, but didn't realize it for several days after we left. When we called, they said they'd kept it, and we were able to pick it up the next day. We were very gratefull that they still had it!. Wonderful front counter staff, breakfast every morning was delicious and as a runner training for a half marathon, the work out facility was easy to use and convenient. The hotel appearance was very clean and home-like. The room was well equiped and very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was much better than I expected with fresh fruit, yogurts, boiled eggs and freshly made waffles. From the quick dispatch from the front desk to our room to await a hospital procedure the next day, to the friendly breakfast hostess, all was fine. Got us a handicap room, quiet location. Just fine. Everything., Especially the receptionist Tiesha. She was so helpful& friendly and went the extra mile ,including letting us check in early.Thank you ,Tiesha you made the last day of our holiday. Very nice rooms and comfortable beds. The lady at the complimentary breakfast was awesome. Her cutomer service was outstanding and she treated it like her own little diner. Very outstanding!. Check-in went smoothly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was really good. The woman in charge of the food was very friendly and helpful. But we found a very good parking space, not at a great distance from the entrance and elevators. When I first called, they said the head housekeeper wasn't in and I'd have to call back tomorrow. It would've been nice if someone other than the head housekeeper could have helped us. Our neighbors were noisy and people need to learn how not to let their room door slam, but that's nothing against the hotel, just other visitors need common curtosey. The only downside was the long wait (1hr) for the shuttle from the airport. I think they use a shuttle company that covers a few hotels and they had too many guests to transfer, but it was free!. Continental breakfast 6:30 to 9:30 - lot's of people leaving on the 6:00 am shuttle to the airport (which is pretty normal) and nothing for the people as they were heading out the door - I didn't want anything as I had my own car - but quite a few departing guests would have liked a little something for their trek to the airport - open continental breakfast early to accomodate the 6:00 am. shuttle guests. Website we booked through said it had 24 hour free shuttle but it actually ended at 12:30. We were lucky that our flight arrived a little earlier and we were able to catch the free shuttle service. All ended good. Internet was poor. Nothing....everything was great. The morning breakfast left a lot to be desired. Everything was as we usually expect with choice hotels. The eggs tasted like plastic and seems as though they were overcooked. Not what usually is served at Choice Hotels. A/c unit is under the window type, very loud. Breakfast seating area not large enough. I had difficulty making a long distance phone call. I was informed if I needed to call New Smyrna from Orlando, comfort suites I would need to find a garage. The reason I chose this hotel was 24 hour shuttle service from.Yeh airport. When I called for the shuttle I was told it stopped for the night. A little bit distant from Disneyworld. Bathroom was too big with poor layout. Shuttle pick up was ok but service can be improved. nothing. Not within walking distance to Florida Mall. When booking thought we could walk there.Wish shuttle could include the mall. I booked a king room and got a double. hot tub was cold. pool not heated. Comfort Suit was very under-staffed. I was put on hold twice when calling from the airport for a shuttle and had to wait for 10 minutes before hanging up and calling a third time. There was only one person manning the desk, phone, etc. Don't be cheap, hire someone to answer the phone during the evening hours. One person makes for very unhappy customers. double beds instead of 1 king. Location. Tricky to find, you kind of just run into McCoy Road on the main drag and by the time you realize it you've passed the hotel. No restaurants close by. Pick up from airport was awful. Waited a full 40 minutes and then took a cab. Breakfast was less than stellar. Getting ride back to airport was also problematic - no room at the time I needed.
