Good base to explore New York. Very comfortable hotel, room was spotlessly clean with plenty of toiletries & beautiful towels. Room comfort excellent. We couldn't check in til 4pm but not a problem as we left our luggage there so we were able to start our tour of New York. The following morning again we were able to leave our luggage to enable us to finish sightseeing. I would highly recommend this hotel.
all reviews » The security of the hotel. After hours having to use your room key to get past the door security officer then also to make the lift work makes you feel safe. The staff is always happy and friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay memorable for the right reasons. The breakfast was awesome too. Location!!! Just 30 meters from Times Square, around the corner of a starbucks, lots of deli`s, theaters, subway and more. Free wifi in the Lobby area. Awesome view from the hotel bar... Concierge staff members are really there to help! Congrats for Mr. Omar Benitt!!!!. The location was the best part of staying at the Renaissance. You are in the heart of Times Square, and walk right out into it. The TKTS office was also adjacent which was nice. The hotel was beautiful and "hip". The location was convenient to all of Times Square and to subway stations. My room was very comforatable. great location at Times Sq.Very helpful staff for whom nothing was to much trouble.Spacious well equiped room. Location was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. The food and service was excellent but it was a bit small for the size of the hotel I thought. The view over Times Square was fantastic. Breakfast and the room wifi costs are really high... But that's what you get when staying at a luxury hotel. The reception area is separated from the lobby by one floor / elevator. So, you need to take 2 elevators to get to the room. No major problem, but takes more time to arrive. Had to ask a few times to get a roll-away up to the room. Also, it seemed a bit noisy from the surrounding rooms. Little access to inexpensive food and beverages on site. Maid service was a little slack. Tea and coffee in the room wasn't replenished everyday. Having to take two lifts to reach room. Room was tight with two adults and a five year old. We could also hear the tv in the room next door. Nothing!. Cost is high. Wi-Fi restricted only for lobby area. Not available at room. toooo pricey... small room..cheap stuff.. no electric kettle..no free wifi in the room...very very limited breakfast... not worth the price.much better options available on timesquare.
