Stylish hotel, rooms were smaller but nicely designed,excellent gym, good location if you like the soho area, and great rooftop bar but overly expensive cocktails there. Concierge recommended some affordable & delectable restos in area. Location is great. My wife was in NY for the 1st time son it was crucial (since we had just a few days) to be close to all the classic interest points. Decoration is great. It also has a great bar with wonderful views of the city.

Second time we stayed here. Looking forward to the third time. Location was great for our stay. SOHO just out of the chaos. Staff were attentive. Kristy at the front desk was always happy and helpful. Our room was bright and spotless. everything... the service was impeccable and friendly, especially concierge and Christie at the front desk. Makes all the difference for first and last impressions. I love the location, the style of the hotel, and the rooms. The views from upper floors are fabulous, especially from the rooftop bar and patio. modern and neat design very helpful and knowledgeable concierge great location and neighborhood room compact but nicely designed. The hotel was everything I had expected and more for an evening of connection with hubby. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the little details: bottled water, chocolates, good tea. Roof top dipping pool is an extended hot tub. They should heat it so it can be used year round. Staff did not follow through with a wake up call and I almost missed my flight! Overall for the price, one could probably find a better value- they should offer promos - other 5 star hotels can offer discounts like, staying 4 nights get one night free or half off or something. The bathrooms although are really fun, lack a bit of privacy. Photo- and filmshooting now and then for commercials was unexpected and not appreciated among the paying hotel guests. the bar staff up at the Jimmy were unfriendly in my opinion. The only negative to what was a wonderful stay. It seems that every time I come back the rates keep going up up up. Modern times I guess... That the booking . Com was deceptive with the amount it would cost , they charge my card an extra $55.00 stating that it was taxes. When my email confirmation states that it was $332.10 that thge extra $55.00 was a hold and it will drop off the bill when I check out .!!!!!!!?!!?!?!. The fridge wasn't replenished during my entire stay, things like that should not be overlooked. Nothing.... Too expansiv. Nothing. Nothing. The only thing I didn't like was that yo don't have access to an ice machine. You have to ask them to bring you ice or you have to wait for it to be delivered in the evening. I like to have it in the AM and in the afternoon. Also, I did not like the shampoo/body wash. It was sort of lemony or something that burned. when the internet server broke down!. I really did not like the aggressive manner employed by the pool staff at 3.30pm on a weekend and 5.00pm on weekdays when they ordered us out of the pool and off the sun loungers so they can get ready for their pool parties. In addition - that it was only explained on checking in and not when you book and pay for the hotel. Very overpriced for what it was -- small, very limited facilities in terms of social spaces, restaurant was quite dark, air conditioning was off the charts - we returned home to a super cold hotel and room every day. When checking in, no one gave us an overview of the facilities.. Good hotel, but for the price, it was not good enough.
