I liked that the rooms were spacious and more like a small apartment. I liked the made to order omelets and breakfast buffet and the early evening drinks. Hurricanes are now a favorite. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If you do not want to go looking for a restaurant, then there is one in the hotel. You are a $5 taxi ride to the French Quarter. all of the staff were orrrrr-sum. specifically breakfast staff, restaurant, bell-boy (or is that man), house cleaners, and everybody we passed. free breakfast was awesome. rooms very clean and tidy, spacious, and good value. will definitely return again sometime.
all reviews » The location wss close to.the convention center, central business district, and French Quarter. The loft rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast buffet, separate sleeping quarters in suite & proximity to shopping, restaurants and the French Quarter. I love the room that I stayed in. I love the breakfast. It was not to far from all of the advantage around town. Facilities clean, bellman and all staff was amazing but the nights sleep was horrible!!!!. Hotel was clean. Staff was helpful & friendly. Breakfast was good. Breakfast buffet and complimentary cocktails. Centrally located. i like set up of the room, very spacious, great for family. Location to French quarter was within walking diatance. Steamboat Cruise was well worth the time and money. The room was great and breakfast was awesome. The complimentary breakfast and cocktails... cleanliness. restaurant. staff are friendly. Daily complimentary drinks brought hotel guests together such that we could meet up your guests that were on the same business as ourselves. That was very helpful. The complementary Internet access also was a desirable service. Having two rooms is always good especially when travelling with adult children. The night happy hour social is always good. The self use laundry was excellent. Staff were great, very courteous and helpful, especially concierge. Breakfasts were great. Second room was good. Happy hour with free drinks was great. I stayed in the Lofts and it was generally quiet. Staff were friendly and the rooms were spacious. Evening drinks and breakfast included. The breakfast and cocktails. Staff excellent. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. I will never stay here again. Ever. And I've visited New Orleans more than a dozen times. There was no redeeming quality to those hotel. Period. The bed was too hard for me. I did not know the convention center was a mile long and my activity was at the far end. If you are handicap or cannot walk a mile you may want to find out where your convention is being held and pick one closer to the area, Many hotels down the length of the convention center. It was undergoing some renovation which wss necessary but inconvenient. The Lofts building wasn't well lit on the outside and I would have preferred an entrance from the main hotel especially at night. The total price should have been in when applying online, like the valet parking price. It was the worst night of sleep we have ever had in a hotel. The air conditioning came on every 30 minutes in Room 317 and sounded like a mac truck coming thru our room. We could not adjust or even turn it off, it was horrible!. Hotel was under construction- pool was closed. No tea at breakfast one day & coffee was poor. $30 for parking Jacuzzi was not working. No safe in room. no pool or hot tub. The walk because of the renovations. distance from the party district. Got .locked into the building late one night and Security had to come open the door. No water in room. Reception was stingy even with issuing bottled water when requested. 1 bottle each of shampoo & conditioner only in a King suite for 3 guests. Is that ever enough for 3 paxes?. The couch bed was uncomfortable for an adult. One small window was not enough light or fresh air. It also rained and the room leaked, soaking our clothes. Although we informed the desk, no reduction was made on our bill or apology given. Swimming pool was supposed to be heated and was broken, and repeatedly has been according to staff. This is unacceptable. I was very disappointed. I had to pay $10 a day to use a pool at another hotel. I did have to move from one room to another due to stale odor in room. They had a hard time finding my reservation because my names were reversed. I was in a hurry to check in and this delayed the process. They parked my car 20 minutes away and forgot to get it... Waited very long time. Also, no hot water in my shower. It was an older hotel .parking not good 30.00 a day . Room dark and dreary. Did not request suite. Was in loft. Did not like it. Lack of bathroom space. Poor service. No mirrors (more than one woman needs more than one mirror). Maid service skipped our rooms. Sore conditioning was intermittent at best. The room had water damage...dirty tub...bad tv reception snow on all channels...pubic hair in bed sheets...cracks in walls...curtains stained...etc.
