I really liked the cleanliness of the rooms. Ours had a nice dark wood floor - no carpeting - which made it easy to see how clean it was. The bathroom was nice - mostly because of the beautifully tiled shower. The outside of the place is very modest, but the room (303 anyway) was very nice and updated. A fridge and microwave made a quick breakfast and a drink after sightseeing very easy.

I loved tht the room was so dark whn u closed the curtains and I love the iPod radio...and the staff very friendly.. This place is like a hidden budget gem. I liked that it was close to the LA Live and Staples center and within 15 minute walking distance and that there are restaurants all around. My room was clean and the furniture modern and updated. The bathroom was also clean. I had a great experience. The room was very nice and had been recently updated with a modern look and feel. It was clean and had everything we needed. The activities we were attending were in the area of the LA Convention Center and the Staple Center. The hotel was very convenient and an easy walk to the venues. We were a bit concerned about staying here after reading other reviews however we loved our stay. The rooms were great and very comfortable, Hotel is very centrally located for nearest metro station and bus to downtown la. Would recommend. clean hotel, friendly staff. wood floors in rooms. Close to downtown, 15-20 min walk, 5 min cab ride. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying near downtown LA. Great savings compared to bigger hotels. The noisy neighbors running and yelling down the hallway at 4am. Not the hotels fault but definitely a problem. Maybe some staff to be there around the clock to help stop people from being annoying to other SLEEPY customers. IDK?. the parking sucked, five or six small spaces in the back via a narrow ally-way. although when it was full up everywere the owner let me park up front behind their vehicle. It would be nice if they could include complimentary bottled water in the room. The Parking was ridiculous. Especially when every hotel around it has excessive parking. There was only 5 spots which were incredibly small. You had to find parking in the neighboring streets which were scetchy during the day and at night. The surrounding neighborhood is a bit sketchy. I dont recommend walking around after dark. The parking lot was so small if I hadn't been in a subcompact car. I actually scratched my car coming out of the parking lot because it was so tight. I would never stay in this hotel if I was bringing a car with me. The neighborhood was a little sketch, I wouldn't let anyone walk out alone. cleanliness was low, found stuff that belonged to the previous guest razor, hairband, perfume.. staff was a bit rude didnt really want to deal with them at all was a bit upset the website said only 0.4 miles from the center when it was well over a mile walk through not so good neighborhoods. No Espn. Parkinglots are very small +you have to park where they tell you. WiFi is weak in the 3rd floor. Front desk staff not very accessible. Room decore quite spare. Parking was very tight, but got back late and there were still parking spots available. The surrounding neighborhood is sketchy. The parking was too tight!!. I'm not picky, so for my trip it was great. parking. . This is a city hotel and be warned that the parking lot is very small and in the back of the hotel. Easy for a small car but not a large one. Parking is free and since we had a "boat" they allowed us to park in their private spot. So can't complain!. Dirty bolsters. 1. No meal plan hence looks over priced a bit. 2. It's a family Inn, so you don't find any one at the counter any time to assist you. 3. The coffee machine was out of order for most of the time and no one to fix it. 4.Being a family Inn, some of the members are not trained to professionally speak to the guests. -Extremely unprofessional morning staff at front desk. Location: dodgy area of the city, definitely to walk through at night (although we didn't like LA in general). Ambience within the room. The bed was too soft in my opinion. The neighborhood. woman at the counter was rude. Customer service Parking space. No wi-fi in the room.
