- Front desk staff, especially Lea (?), was wonderful & very accommodating. - The decor of the entire hotel & was very hip, modern, sexy, & luxurious- all in one. Loved the ambiance. Large stain on carpet, definitely not a good look on first entering room. Simple requests took a long time - porter to take bag to from car took longer than normal. Pool area not one hundred percent clean. Chlorine stains on tiles. The walls were a beaten up in the hallways. Rooms decoration i didnt like the bed in the center at all. Wifi is an added expense. bfast buffet v limited. Overpriced. One staff member suggested I should get a limo after they saw I was getting into a cab. Thought it was kinda rude. He was probably trying to make some extra money on the side. Not family friendly (specifically with young kids) specially the pool...nothing wrong with it, its just not for us. all good didnt see much of facilities. beds were comfy. Poolside service was the worst. The staff was overwhelmed. There were far too many people for the limited staff. Took forever to get drinks, and a menu. We were there all day, would have spent twice as much had we had someone come by more often. Kitchen had also ran out of our order. The price is a little high for what it offers. The maid does not clean your whole room daily. They charge on previous amount on your credit card as a hold and if you spend a little close to that they keep on charging the same amount daily without previously telling you. WiFi is bad. lots of mirrors. No coffee makers in the room. A thing that annoyed was the availability of the suite that I applied for. I was given a room for 3 nights then they moved me to the suite that I booked. Bathroom, could hear too much road noise. I hate the staff in the roof bar! They are so mean!. No parasol, paying deckchairs (up to $800) and unpleasant waitress at the swimming pool; bed mattress too soft; bad quality shampoo. Poor customer service. Room had great looks in design but really poorly designed for function. It was all about the scene. Checked in at 5:00 to an hour long line and room not ready. The rooms smell like ash tray too much smoking stink in both rooms I stayed in , The air condition is also weak at night and doesn't give enough cooling while sleeping when you most need it !. Cheap decoration! No quality! Designer hotel is not the only thing. The reservation was not ready at the chek in and taka a long time. It's not a 5 stars hotel. The facilities are far from the standards of a five star hotel. The room ceiling is low, carpets are moldy, cupboards look worn out and have scratches. The lighting in the hotel is too dim. The bed frame and desks have sharp angels. Both of us were tripped over by the extrusive table legs and were hit by the sharp bed frame. Scars still on leg. Even considering the hotel try to create an "artistic" "modern" atmosphere, you could not trade off comfort.
