Everything was perfect. Staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean and very comforting. About 10 minute drive to Venice, Hollywood, Downtown, Etc. If your an NBA fan of the Los Angeles Clippers, their practice facility is across the street. Overall a very good destination for a get away. Perfect location from all the tourist attractions; Very nice hotel especially for the cost. I most certainly would stay again.
all reviews » Position is great near airport, Westfield shopping centre and local shops. Ideal for a night before flying home to Australia. Fresh water in the Lobby, quick check-in, professional service and courtesy of the staff. Silent room and comfortable bed. We only stayed for one night as a start to our LA to SF drive up the PCH but it was very comfortable. Hotel was ideally situated to explore areas of Los Angeles including Beverley Hills & Hollywood. Jessica and Pilar at the front desk were excellent and helpful. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very friendly. I like that it's a pet friendly hotel and I could stay there with my little dog. Also it has swimming pool with the warm water. It has a shopping mall wgich is about just 5 minutes walking. The warm cookies were the best and the location, they need to give the same attention to the rooms as the outside aesthetics. Beds were extremely comfortable , and a/c worked great. The price when I booked it. One of the managers in the reception is very nice and helpful. Bed is quite cozy. Location was good. Not much. I have nothing bad to say. =). Several unnecessary and invalid charges were charged to my credit card. It was a hastle talking to my bank. After speaking to the manager, she persaonally called the bank and asked them to immediatly credit the funds back to my account. They did but this was about an hour process. The house keeper knocked at the door at 09.00 A.M. when the check out is at 12.00. If I want the wake up, I ask at the front desk. Nothing. No adverse comment. Hair dryer shorted. No reduction in fees!. I didn't like that the hotel doesn't accept cash, sometimes it can be unconvinient. My room was next to the elevators and the ice machine, needless to say sleeping was hard to do. Then we had a Sleep number bed that did not work. Paid Parking !. TV was very fuzzy, bathroom was very small, fridge was very small, your rooms should be equipped with microwaves, letsbookhotel.com said the room wich was a two bed for two nights was going to be 238 yet I was charged 333 as it was broken down for 140 a night, I will never stay at the doubletree again. I have to pay for wifi, parking, even the water bottles at $5!!! Was not happy with that. The bathroom sink water smelled funky. The room is very old. Carpet got smell the moment we enter the room. The bath room sanitaries are so old and need to be replaced soon. The heater is also so noisy. Room was old. Low value for the price. Lunch in your restaurant was one of the worst lunches I have ever had. Soup was warm not hot and it was terrible. Grilled cheese appeared to be mad by a 2 year old. 75% bread, stale bacon and hardly any cheese.
