I had my booking for two rooms, And we were going to Vegas mainly because my kids wanted to see David Copperfield and his show ... And over all it was a nice experience .. food and beverages in the hotel are very good, Swimming pool was a bit crowded during the week-end but nice as well ... This is my first time to Vegas, and I can say that my kids didn't enjoy it so much after being in Orlando for a week .. So I think my next visit to Vegas wouldn't be a family trip.
all reviews » The tub in the hotel room was deep enough for soaking and relaxing. The room was clean and up to date. Ti was centrally located on the strip. Mystere was a great Cirque du Soleil show Alcoholic drinks in various establishments were good; service people were helpful. The pirate show, although kind of ridiculous with the Sirens, was still fun to watch. The location of the hotel was wonderful and all staff we encountered were helpful with directions. Our housekeeper, Martha, who worked on the 29th floor was so positive, friendly and was ready to meet any need we had during our stay. Liked the citrus smell as you came out of your room into the hotel corridor. The show - Mystere was fantastic!. Our stay was great, no problem. The staff are friendly, helpful. The service guest support is great, bought a few things online and have delivered to the hotel prior to our arrival. When we arrived, pulled out everything without problems. Cost-effective for those wishing to spend a few days resting, shopping and enjoying the city!. I like Treasure because is smaller than some other hotels in Vegas. So it's easier found the room without walk and walk inside the Hotel. The staff is friendly. The buffet perfect with a plate of pasta well done ! The location is fantastic, in front of Venetian hotel. For this reason I come back in Treasure every year. Location is ideal along the strip. Many tours use the hotel as a pick-up point. Metro bus-stop outside, which for only $8 allows you to ride the strip and visit Fremont street; this ticket is valid for 24 hours- a little known Las Vegas secret. superb night view of the city, right in the north center of Strip, close to Wynn, Venetian, Mirage, and so on. Afternoon pool party is attractive with live performance going on and on. Got coupon for The buffet at their hotel, and it really worths the money. VERY clean, second time staying here, great price and excellent location. Front desk staff provided best check in experience I've ever had (and I've worked in 4 star hotels the past 5yrs so I know exactly what key points to look for with a perfect check in.). Spacious quite room, good location at the strip, close to on-street attractions: volcano at Mirage, fountains at Bellagio and of course Sirens of ti in front of hotel. Good dinner buffet.Very convinient check- out: you can just leave your keys in room. My room was spacious. The exercise facilities were great as I worked out everyday. It was an extra bonus to have water and towels in the workout space. I loved the steakhouse. The food was excellent and the bartenders were very accommodating. lots of choices of restaurants, bars and quick eat places. Variety of things to do in the hotel as temperature was so hot outside. Location is great, and rooms are very nice, a bit dated, but very well looked after and maintained. Front courtyard people are very welcoming and helpful on arrival in taxi. They could train the Cafe staff how to relate to beings!. The staff was amazing. I got free champagne for my 21st birthday and we got upgraded to an awesome view of the strip! The hotel was great! The room was clean and comfortable. The casino is a typical casino, its not as new and fancy as some that are nearby casions which makes the stay end up being more afordable. A young man that checked me in as I arrived was Very Pleasant, and he stated it was his first week there, I found him to be very Professional and Friendly. :). "but in return I was upgraded on the next day for the two rooms to Strip view rooms (Thanks)". We wish the hotel room had a bigger screen T.V., but it was ok. Many restaurants inside were not open for lunch, just dinner. The coffee shop was very expensive--$5 for a juice, $3-4 for a regular coffee. $35 breakfast for two people was too much. The Seafood Shack had mediocre seasoning of food (seafood pasta, steamed mussels/clams). It just tasted below par. Trash cans at poolside need to be emptied more often. They were overflowing and the wind sent trash flying into the spa area and pool. The smoke smell in the casino. My husband and I are non smokers and come from an atmosphere in NY state where many areas where the public congregate are smoke free. We have nothing to complain about the hotel. took half an hour to check in. The line was astonishingly long, and it was not a long weekend. Young groups sometimes can be loud in the hallway. did not see the siren show, I guess it could be better if there would be a showtime with the check-in package. No free wi-fi, you should pay a resort fee to get access to wi-fi. It took 45 minutes to check in. There were only 3 people at the front desk. I felt very irritated. There were additional costs- resort fee- listed on letsbookhotel.com as $25 a day and were actually $28 a day. That is a communication error as I called booking .com to tell them. The woman who checked me out was not very friendly and it was 4:30 am and I was exhausted and needed a more friendly demeanor. room did not have a nice view. got a smoking room/floor when requested a non smoking. Could have requested change of room but that required repacking, etc. Service in Coffee Shop very slow. Standing in line waiting to eat when there were obvious open seating areas, maid came first day when still in room, did not come back to clean room, had to call housekeeping 3rd day to clean the bathroom better,. On arrival we were given a smoking room,when we specifically booked non-smoking. the front desk girl was officious and uncooperative and we hadto get the manager to assist. Also, the Casino Cafe Restaurant staff desperately need customer service skills - they are the most basic of order takers and food servers I have met anywhere in the USA. No interest in customers at all, no smile, unhelpful, and took 15-20 mins just to come see us about to take our order. It's at the very edge of the strip (not too far, but I would have preferred a hotel somewhere in the middle). No complainants. The hotel was definitely older and had a stronger smell and the table games were lacking. the service in the coffee shop was lacking, even though it was a holiday. Check in. Line takes about one hour. Just seeing the line is repulsive. Sirens show is very corny and dated. the fact that I did not win any money!!. No kettle in room. Would have liked some 5usd min tables. I don't like the "Resort Fee" that all Casinos are tacking onto their room rates these days. They are all doing it but its like "fine print.". Not one thing. .the internet doesn't work properly the staff seems like don't want to really help if there is a problem. Design shows the ware of past decades: this is certainly NOT the trendiest hotel on the Strip. Room was a bit dusty in places- cleaners could have easily cleaned top of the cupboard for example and it looked like the toilet wasnt cleaned properly. Buffet food was poor when compared to other hotels - do not waste your money! Lost a card and wanted a replacement - it took ages to wait in line to do this. The pool is poor when compared to others on the strip. front desk staff, more smiles please?. - The hotel casino is very crowded and a lot of drunk people is there. - Last day of my stay, there was a very noise sound above my room as someone was hammering and wake me up early morning!! -. Free wi-fi was available only for one device. No concierge. No comfortable seating in lobby. Late Check out should be later than noon. We didn't think the resort fee was worth it... Wifi was really bad in the room (did not work on my iPhone and helpdesk couldn't help me) and you have to pay extra for more devices... Swimming pool music too noisy and very much a party atmosphere - not suitable for swimming. Nothing. The coffee shop restraunt had excellent food but the servers were to slow be prepared to not see a meal to about 30-45 minutes after being seated ! We ate there 3 times during our stay and it turned into a 2 hour sit down and the restraunt was not even busy :( food was great though !. The cafe and buffet were not that good for the cost. Nothing . Paid for mandatory resort fee for "high speed Internet" which was not working. I had to call front desk to connect me to technical support. After waiting 15-20 mins to get through tech support, found our reception desk did not "activate" the Wi-fi. Once Wi-fi was activated, the Internet speed was super slow and ended up using my iPhone instead. Treasure island should reimburse me for resort fee $25. I was pleased with everything. Tea/coffee facility in the room would be nice. nothing. Kids were everywhere. It seems like even on the gambling floor. Excessive smoking all over casino. I got sick from the smoke. Needed Dr. Restaurants are non smoking. Great breakfast buffet. Best I've had. You are not supposed to be in your room during the day, but while resting we were a bit annoyed by the loud music coming from the bar at the swimming pool. The buffet was not good.
