We had a rather rocky start to our stay before we were finally put in a wonderful suite. I must say the staff was great in helping us out as the problems we encountered were not known before hand. One involved a room too far from the elevator as my wife was on crutches and had difficulty getting around. The other was a maintenance problem when water had soaked the rug in the room. I myself did not notice this until I took off my shoes and walked close to the refrigerator. I did enjoy the caring.

I returned to the booking desk and was fortunate to meet Margo. This young lady went I feel out of her way to find me another room closer to the elevator. I have no idea how she did it but she upgraded my room to a complimentary suite, all this because of an old war injury, and to top it off, a big thank you for m. Stayed at the Mirage 5 days. nice hotel. This is the hotel we stayed at in Vegas, which was easiest to navigate. But it is a great LACK that is NOT a coffee maker in the room .. There are MANY sun loungers by the pool. Unfortunately, the block up and down on each other, so you almost have to climb over it, which is next to get in / out. it is cross-border. The water in the pool is very cold. There is a mini Zoo at the hotel which has white lions, white tigers, leopards and some dolphins. Defini. - got what I paid for : Superior View room: was indeed on 23rd floor with great view on strip/vulcano - great pool! - location - great Cirque du Soleil ' Beatles' LOVE show: hotel guests get 30% off.(enter free for your M-card as offered when checking in). That 30% off is indeed a better deal than what the 'Tix4Tonight' can offer ; the ygo 20% less max and may sell you single seat tickets. Whats not to like, rooms were enormous, beds were most comfortable I have ever slept in for a hotel, very clean, pool area clean and tidy, towels provided, various food options in hotel, even a starbucks for cheaper breakfast/coffee option, right on the strip in heart of everything, bust stops outside to take you to Freemont and up and down strip, perfect!. The Mirage is "user" friendly. It's easy to get to the pool and to the other amenities. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. The cleaning staff does a great job in re-doing the rooms and they are timely. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I have stayed at other places but the Mirage is my favorite. Thanks for a wonderful stay. I just love the whole feel of the hotel. It's not too over the top with the theme like most Vegas hotels and even though it's a casino it's not nearly as dark as the others. The spa is amazing and the pool is great. The location is right in the heart of the strip too. Typical Las Vegas, Casino Hotel. Clean, friendly staff, always wanted to help, nice restaurants in the Hotel. Try the steak house very very good, and donr forget the Carnegie's to try a huge pastrami sanduits. Easy check in , easy check out. The location of the hotel is excellent. Right in the middle of the strip, amazing shows, great pool. Revolution and 1OAK are great clubs to go. also Japonnais and Samba Steakhouse are quality restaurants. I will definitely be back!. The location of the hotel is really good, it has a fair price and a wonderful infraestructure. No coffee maker in room. - casino smell - a combo of vanilla and "pine fresh" ;-) but read about it before and so found it more 'remarkable' rather than a problem. - I knew about the resort fee (pool/wifi) so no complaints there - tip: mini-bar has auto-registration for what you take out so put that champaign back after 20 seconds when not wanted ;-). How expensive the mini bar in the room was. A bottle of water for $6.00? And a split of wine for $25.00? a nice convenience but too expensive. The bathroom was a little worn and it's not as luxurious as some of the other hotels nearby but it's still my favorite go-to hotel in Las Vegas. One day they have to stop to charge Vegas Hotels this daily resort fee. Sorry but sounds like a scam. Put some. Put at least a pair of slippers in the room. Liked everything!. Very few options in terms of Bars. Very bad noise insulation in the rooms. You hear absolutely everything that goes on in the hallways, and people are loud in Vegas at 4:00 am.... No bottled water was provided by the hotel even though the weather was so very hot every day. Toiletries were also updated erratically - we had no soap or shower gel for 2 days out of the three we spent there. Guests are made to walk through the huge casinos before reaching the elevators to guest rooms. I didnt like the room service as our room wasn't attempted to be cleaned until 8pm. I had to call for clean towels. The wifi was horrible and couldn't get consistent wifi coverage. I also thought the bathrooms were small in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in. Wish they had a lounge to relax in but they don't expect people to relax in Vegas!!. We do not like the screen 0n the windows, as I had mentioned above, o. nothing. Perhaps how busy it was on Saturday night - but then that is Las Vegas. Pool always overcrowded, extra charge for adults pool only, hotel needs a facelift at public areas and in the room dolphins and tigers caged in - in 21st century this should not be considered entertainment anymore. The air conditioning too cold in the coridors, casino, etc... The Onda food was not as good as expected and the menu in our room for the restaurant was out-of-date. It costs more to stay in such a nice hotel with an excellent strip location but it is always worth the price if you search for deals.....perhaps choosing weekdays instead of the weekend. The only thing that I didn't like all the hotel that I stay in the past has a security person by elevators asking for the key room just to make sure u are staying there I never see one. Upon check-in you have to walk a long way through the casino until you reach the elevators. The fluffy carpet in the room did not seem very hygienic. smoke in casino which you cannot avoid. No. Smokey casino, but that is the case in all of them in the evening. No tea or coffee making facility. Long walk from lobby to lifts. activities desk 24h open middle range restaurant selection bars and pub open till morning. We loved everything!. Rooms are smaller than at some of the newer resorts. That said, the price point for Mirage is lower and it was an acceptable trade off as we spent very little time in the room. Small bathroom, no coffee pot in room, and...extremely degrading music pounding from Revolution lounge. We grew up with the Beatles. They did not write or sing demeaning lyrics such as we heard dominating the casino. The long winding walk though the casino to get to the elevator with our bags to get to our room. Booked a king size bed - ended up with 2 doubles. The bath looked a bit rusty - room 23043. The smell in the Casino. All Casino seem to spray some sort of perfume to cover the cigarette smoke, but the one in the Mirage is just bad. Plus quality of the food in the Restaurants is not good enough to justify the prices. The room was pricey with hidden fees. The more upscale restauraunts were not open until late afternoon (4 - 5PM) so it was not possible to get a drink and light snack (since we were eating dinner late). I really would have liked a coffee pot in the room! We ordered room service which was very expensive!!. The fact that they hold and debit 100 on your account once you check-in other than the hotel fee itself. And the credit doesn't go back in your account as fast as when they debit it. Makes it more confusing and now I had a negative on my account. We were really upset because of the crappy wifi in the room. The speed was acceptable - when we were able to connect! We had to move around the room to find some connection. At most of the times we could see the wifit of the hotel opposite Mirage (the Venetian) but not the wifi of the Mirage. (We were on the 24th floor). No coffee maker in room. Need one for the 1st cup of the day!! A fridge u could use would also be good. Everything was great. Nothing really, this was a reasonable Vegas hotel.
